What tibia stories do you know or secrets, like when the servers were hack, who did it how they do it and things like that or about the warlord swords and magic longsword owners and how they got them, like that GM that was used as a middleman for a magic longsword sale and stole both the magic longsword and the money, or duping items and other bugs anything interesting post it here:

Tibia Bugs
Rare Items owner and how they got them

One of the recent and interesting tibian myths iv recently read about was the secret sheep level in fibula that was made by one of the mappers to ask macro runes or something. Just google it.. It's one that I haven't seen mentioned in these types of threads very often. Not really a huge deal or anything more the sentimental fact of showing that a mapper went out of his way just to have a spot to afk rune sit. And now afk rune sitting is a waste of time :/ I remember back in the day I would make UHs on my Druid lvl 11 and sell the for 3k a Bp now those were the days.

Guess while im sitting here drinking beer i might as well tell some other minor bugs we used back in the days before nova even existed..

***EDIT***Looking at this thread.. i realized my post has absolutely nothing to do with this topic.. i'll leave it tho for now.. PM me if you want it deleted and i'll post some kick ass secret

GS in Mt. Sternum: Giant spider used to spawn in center area of mt sternum (Where the grass is).. you would have a scout char inside the mountain to get the GS to summon poison spiders.. the poison spiders wouldnt leave the GS and it would trap it. The you could go up the ladder with the GS trapped with like a lvl 13 druid and shoot a energy field at it and 1 shot from a lmm/hmm.. best luck was to have it trapped with an extra space so it would constantly run over the energy and die pretty quick. was fun to do at the time when spawn sitting GS / Dragon Lords was something to do.. the shot from the LMM/HMM gave you exp for the entire kill.. since all damage was from runes..

If there are any old players here who want to talk about the old times.. just gimme a holler. There is a guild on antica that took the initiative to document the history of tibia.. looking at the old sprites and weapons makes me miss the old days..

Who remembers screen glitches? (Prolly no one...) Fuck if you would go down some stairs or a hole or anything and keep the key held in the whole screen would glitch out and you'd be dead. so you had to hit the hole. wait for screen to be there then procede (like a half sec delay)...

I also remember killing GS in poh with any lvl pally cuz you could just go diagnol through the trees and gs couldnt get you.. which could lead to an instant death on a low lvl if the GS hit you with a poison field directly trying to move diagnol through the trees because you used to not be able to drag yourself off of fields..

----which leads into what used to be one of my favorite pass times----

Fire field pking... it was hilarious.. all you had to do was tell someone that you needed help for a second getting your "hidden loot bag" or what not.. and start walking through a bunch of trees... which would be a somewhat logical place for a lootbag to be.. So then when they are following you wait for them to hit a spot with trees they would have to diagnol drag out of ... then fire field and BOOM stuck cuz who the fuck had destroy field runes.. i think they existed back then?? But you just kept the fire burning under them until DEAD.. was fun.

We also used to set up "macro pushing" we just had a macro set to like 100x normal speed.. when someone was standing next to you just press GO and it would drag them diagnol back and forth at 100X normal speed.. which fucked with tibia's walking and they were stuck next to you... you would push them before they had the chance to take a step and they were fucked. I remember Orio being able to "macro" push manually.. This stopped working when they implemented movements in the body's of your tibia char.. it used to just be 4 different sprites.. up down left and right lol..

I am just gonna make a thread dedicated to the Old days of tibia.. i cant remember if i made it on this forum yet.. i know i made one on either Neo or BlackD... cuz i can see that my drunken rambling about bugs has just turned into me talking about old tibs..Good ole Arieswar... lvl 67 for EVER (Highest lvl in all of tibia at that time) takes like 2 days now

It wasn't a GM that was the middleman, it was Alex, a level 18 druid.

He was also one of the first gold sellers that took it beyond ebay

Uhm not much of a secret. but Beholders (bonelords for the Nawbbbs)<---mega drunk now still drankin.

But with beholders... we would just have a knight block the beholder (in ab'den north west where the anarchist hole is) and have noob mages kill the skellys... when they still gave exp.. beholders used to summon mad ammounts of skellys and it was pretty decent exp for being extremly easy. (this was back when mages used to hunt either rots with war hammer or cycs with HMMS)... yeah prolly doesnt make sense to ya guys tibs was not even comparable to what it was now...

I remember a time where i was around 11 years old. And me and my brother were walking from Carlin to Thais (No pacc, we were around ~level 20 Druid and Paladin) and suddenly there is a Giant Spider, apperently lured from somewhere. We run away like crazy people but luckily some dude killed it just before it could get to us. It was pretty funny seeing all those dead bodies around the GS :)

Great old memories :)

I've chosen to interest myself in Desert Dungeon and all the myths and stuff about it. Quite interesteing there are alot of books there telling connections between different things. Also there are multiple NPC's down in deeper desert dungeon that tells u alot of things XD

Also another RPG moment I had was when I almost completed yalahar quest aswell as farmine quest when it was new, without wiki!!! :D I found it pretty amazing since some shit are quite hard to "understand" what to do :P

Jah it was a spell you could buy. There wasn't different channels back then so it was a spell to be able to communicate with everyone that was online. Text showed up in light grey font but it was removed when different channels came to tibia

Not really secrets but tibia was full of bugs back in the day, not just bugs but plain stupid shit.

*You could block creeps with flowers(creeps didnt push em), if u had good fire/poison bomb skills you could easily kill any monster at level 8 with good magic level, a bomb rune and shit loads of hmm(if u managed to hit the bomb directly in the middle of the 3x3 matrix).
*Creeps would respawn if u lured the first creep away so you could make super creeps by roping 200 of the same creep to 1 square, would kill anyone moving past them since u can only block 2 hits.
*Luring 200 cyclops from mount sternum to thais was also populare, could even lure beholders back when they spawned south of thais.
*SDs diddnt have any req level so by being a decent programmer you could easily get 50 level 8 sorcs to main, make some runes/cash untill u get a good magic level then login with all at the same time filling the screen with sorcs bombing the shit out of some random high level.
*Was a lot of tables and shit you could move but not walk over so you could easily block spawns. put 2 parcels and a firefield and u get the same effect.
*You couldnt rope if u where standing on the rope spot so combinding the previous "bug" could let you kill anyone pretty easy.
*Stair jumping, creeps wouldnt heal if u didnt see them and there where no delay when walking down stairs so u could kill demons by just walking down the stairs, shooting rune, walking up, then w8 1 sec for rune delay to release
*There was no protection from missclicking on players, so using the spell changing appearance to change r self to an orc/other mob and having a name that looks like orc etc(0rc, tr0ll) could make noobs get skull easily, so killing noobs with skull with your main char was also an easy way to kill people. This also caused alot of skulled noobs running around spamming "missclick" wich was kinda fun.

There were so many ways of abusing the system back in the days... damn those where the days...

If i remember more ill edit.

It used to be possible (and very easy) in the early days of Tibia (pre 6.4 - when bots were becoming a "thing") to move walls and duplicate items. So easy, in fact, that you could do it with a tool like WireShark or CheatEngine. All items and shit were client sided and when requests were sent to the server they were simply processed, not queried properly. So you could for instance generate some platinum / crystal coins using Cheat Engine by editing your container, but if you would relog they would disappear. Fortunately, though, if you used the coins before relogging, you could buy any items and they would not disappear. This was patched pretty soon after it was discovered. Moving walls was almost as simple, just had to listen to an outgoing move item packet, modify it to be moving a wall from one position to another, and I seem to recall one day seeing Thais temple rebuilt to the south, where today you'll find just snakes and wolves. That was always fun...

The majority of "glitches" made available today are simple oversight, and they are becoming more and more rare due to the efforts of CIP to keep their fair fanbase. Sucks, but that's life.

I dont think its okay for employeed gms to be able to abuse this conpany. Cipsoft is discusting and i hope people continue to crash theyre servers. Hell soneone should hack the whole system give 100000000000000000 in every players bank this game is garbage. And the gms are faggots who should not have been given anything.

Katana once looked very similar to bright sword so I sold Katana for the same price as bright sword to noobs.

(Not really a bug just went with noobs) When purchasing items for crystal coins I kept pressing cancel and blaming it on "Not enough cap" and traded a platinum coin instead of a crystal coin. Pretty douchy but a lot of profit :P
