Link Lifetimers to 2 PC's

So every week, I go between my mom and dads house. I have a computer at both of the houses. I bought my first Xeno License in August of 2012 or so...
Back then you could freely transfer your account between machines, and I understand why you did that... But today I though HMMM
People are paying a nice lump of money (now) for a lifetime subscription to bot with forever! There is some people that may be in the same type of situation as me, so I though of this.

Why couldn't Lifetime Subscription holders link their account to 2 computers?
You may say well, then they could use those two computers to bot multiple accounts, with the same subscription... In turn I understand, yet disagree.
We all know that DarkstaR is a great scripter, so he should be able to make it where the account can only be linked to one PC at a time, yet they can transfer the account back and forth between the 2 PC's freely...

Tell me what you guys think!

I think this would be great. You guys without a lifetime subscription are jelly. Im not saying people wouldnt abuse it, But the life timers were amongst the first people to invest in the bot and should be allowed this privilege.

Every person with a lifetime subscription will vote yes and everyone without will vote no.

What he is saying is remove the 2 week waiting time to switch accounts from computer to computer for lifetimers. It wouldnt let you run two bots on two computers at once. So this would really cut down on abuse, make it pretty much impossible if you are friends.

Yep. People could only use it on one PC at a time, but the waiting tim of 2 weeks is removed, or reduces to like maybe 1 or 2 days...

Sorry, I can't see this happening, ever. The reason being that (as mentioned above), 2 or more friends could pass a lifetime account around. One license is meant to be used by one person on one machine. It's not meant to be switched between multiple machines, or people. This is a common trend in software. There is an algorithm in place to make it easier to switch between machines when absolutely necessary. The delay between machine changes increases each time you do it. It starts with no delay, then 2 days, and goes up to two weeks at a max.

How could 2 people pass the lifetime around? One or the other could use it at a time, is what I am understanding..
But there would possibly be a new algorithm put in place for the Lifetime Subscriber accounts, that would only allow one of the "friends" on at a time, and after maybe 48 or 36 hours after the machine was last changed, it would be changeable again.
I really understand how Dark could lose some money here, but also gain a little bit of reputation...
Either way, it was worth a try. This 2 week thing is unbearable (for me) especially since Redbot put an account accessability level for all their scripts...

some time ago i bought second lifetime subscription

simple buy 1 more lifetime subscription you can use bot for free

Such a horrible idea honestly don't ever see DarkstaR losing money to "gain a little respect" while kids would just share one lifetime account a better idea for the people who use 2 machines is to just not do it? hahah or pay 5 bucks for the other machine i'm sure DarkstaR would rather you spend 5 more bucks instead of him losing money which makes more sense?

I was think about what PunktG said, and That's what I was going to do, buy a second lifetime account for this PC
@ up, the 5 dollar thing isn't a bad Idea either... What if you could buy an extra transfer, for like 5 dollars or so, and it would shave off half the time or something.
That could be available for everyone, and that would make DarkstaR some extra $$, which we know everyone loves!

I swear it seems like people who post on this forum are completely blind or can't get a grasp on the english language there is a system which could be used the would allow a "CD KEY" to be installed on multiple computers however it's sever sided and only allows one use.

To simplify, Ever share your tibia account and your buddy is logged on your account already so this prevents you from logging in on any other chars. see what i am getting at is the fact that You could allow for the bot to be installed on more then 2 pcs however the xeno account it self is only allowed to have one online contact at a time. problem solved. However i still like to think it's a money making scheme and won't change cause lets face it 2 is always better then 1.

This is like a worse version of my idea.

My idea was to link 2 accounts together, and instead of paying $10 a month, pay $8 a month or so. Then you could run on two computers but on only one at a time. That idea was aimed at developers, cause people like me (rich enough, I guess is the phrase) have 2 computers, and I like to use one for development, and the other for botting. I don't like not being able to bot on my bot machine, and not being able to develop on my developer machine, so it's difficult to decide what to do. I guess I'll just live with my system as it is and get on with it though.

I'm happy with the system the way that it is. I have a lifetime acc, but since i bot at both work and home, i have 2 accounts on xeno. My lifetime acc stays on my work desktop and my monthly subscription stays on my laptop.
The cost doesn't bother me since its not really a lot of cash and you get what you pay for.

I don't think this should be allowed. Too many things can go wrong. Lifetime subscribers don't deserve extra privileges for being lifetime subscribers. They already have the privilege of a lifetime account.

And for those who say "what about if someone changes their IP?"

Well this;

You run the Injector, it grabs your current IP. Then you can open as many as you like on the same IP.

If the IP is changed it's no problem since the Injector will grab the changed IP

Though this is more hassle than its worth and its better to just keep it like this.

Although i am all for users being able to use the software which they pay for on any of their devices but i guess from a business point of view it doesn't make sense. or theres other reasons i dont know.
