Alrighty people!
Windows 8, tried it? What do you think so far?

Also, got a few questions.
Since my computer is completely full of shit right now, i intend to reinstall Windows and all that shit.
Just to give my computer a fresh new start, tho, since i don't have the CD for windows anymore, i was thinking of buying
W8 now when it's cheap.

So to my questions.
If i buy w8 online and download it, would that help me reform my computer so its completely empty without having to use the CDs?

Also..
Will tibia and xenobot work with W8?

Hope to get some answers.
peace!

Tibia and xeno works with it. Im useing it, and I'm pleased with it. Some things to get used to, but apart from that, a decent OS.

I use Windows 8 on my laptop. I like it. There are a few drawbacks (no transparency on window frames ), but most of the new stuff is easy to get used to. Tibia and Xeno work for me without any problems. As for the clean install, it should work. You might get an option to save files through upgrading, but choose not to. :p

You can use a USB/flash drive to install Windows 8, if you intend to do a fresh install rather than an upgrade. Things like WinToFlash (http://wintoflash.com/home/en/) or its equivalent should work just fine.
If you'd like to manage your hard drive contents before reformatting, may I recommend a live version of Ubuntu (http://www.ubuntu.com/download/help/create-a-usb-stick-on-windows), or for strictly partitioning, GParted (http://gparted.sourceforge.net/).
Otherwise you should be completely fine just booting Windows 8 from a flash drive and when installing, select the complete reformat option.

But to answer your question, I think you should stick with Windows 7 for now, until stability is more widespread.

I don't got a clue what you just said mate.
I'm the worst guy ever when it comes to this, always used a CD and 1 hour later it's done.

I don't know, W8 looks good and people who used it says it's like W7 but takes less.

I have it, it's not a hell to use, but I prefer W7.
The most annoying of it are the 'apps'. When download e.g. Skype you get a app and it has no X, O and square which annoys me as fuck :S

Well, i bet there is a way to remove them.
I will for sure get W8 now, just because it's cheap right now and i dont think its that bad.

Yes, Skype has a desktop version too for Windows 8 (which is just the same as in other Windows)
But I dont really think Windows 8 has any +'s when looking at Windows 7
