Laggy client

Hey guys,

The last few days I'm having a really laggy client. The FPS is really bad but when looking at the graphics option it says: 70FPS (on max)
I'm running 3 clients atm, all with XenoBot on 10FPS.
Before this I could always use like 7 clients without lag

Any ideas for this problem? :S

Although these last few days I have also had some lag on two servers. Hoping that its just the tibia servers, although I am usually running between 4 & 8 clients at any one time.

i have the same problem. today i had massive laggs even with only 2 clients opened. my pc doesnt change and internet neither and before i could open 8 clients without problems :s

My clients doesn't lag at all, they usually do after I've had them running for a week. Reboot solves that.

But it looks like 5FPS, a level 50 walks with 1 animation (it doesn't move his feet, some kind of moonwalk)

Several people that I know , including myself had terrible lags yesterday and alot more people that I've heard of. Might not be your PC but the servers itself! Succes toch eh! :)

I'm pretty sure it's my PC. At my friends house I didn't have this problem

Try DirextX9 with 100 as max fps.

It sounds like there's something on your computer hogging resources. Make sure you don't have any viruses.

I had this problem before, after 2x restart it was totally gone, it is the same again I think.

I had this problem too. Had to save my settings and map and reinstall the standalone client. That worked for me when restarting my pc completely didn't. Do a full shut down and not just a restart, and maybe try seeing if any processes are running in task manager.

Tibia takes 100% CPU.

It tried playing e.g. Minecraft (Which is a very heavy program) and I could play it smoothly.

When running 1 client, without even Xeno injected on 30FPS, it uses 30% CPU.

Scripts are causing this, too. When i run a muggy plains lizard script, the client gets very laggy but only this 1 client. the others still run smoothly

Scripts can cause memory leaks if they are not correctly coded.

Still having this fuckin problem.

When playing ShadowCores (9.86) it laggs too.
When playing 8.6 ot's it does not lag.
-- This is all without any bot injected

I'm having this shit again.

One of the things I've noticed;

The Max FPS is set on 50.
Normally the current framerate doesn't go higher then your max, but mine ignores it.
And while it says it is 180, it still looks like FPS 10, or even worse.
edit:
CPU usage is also 30%, normally it would be 5-6%.
And the bot isn't even injected?!

I'm having terrible lags on tibia aswell, tried all settings in the world in the client, still lag.
Can run pretty much any other game smoothly on high graphs.

Another thing I've noticed, the Tibia client wants to use as much CPU as possible

for example when running 6 clients;
16%
16%
16%
16%
16%

and when I close 2 clients;

24%
24%
24%
24%

Until I have 2 left, it will not use more then 33%~

How much ram memory u got? and how much does it say free/available? when did you last time clean your pc from dust? So the cpu wont get to hot?

My PC is only 9 months old, and used to work very well. Tibia used to take in only 4% CPU with XenoBot injected.

Well i use 16 gig of ram, as bots seems to eat alot of ram, (Available/free) What does it say there when you bot 4 clients?

The weird thing is just that it has worked before, and I had this problem earlier (you can see at the date of the thread), after doing a clean up(removing all programs, but keeping your files) it worked normal. But the problem came back, and I don't want to reset again :/

So I restarted my PC (just reboot) before, I uninstalled some shit, like Kasperky Anti-virus and some other garbage.
It works now, Tibia takes in only 7-8% CPU on 30FPS with XenoBot injected.
But the problem will probably come back

Tried to clean your computer .. Just clean it and install Windows 7 / Anti-Virus / Tibia & Xenobot ;) Works great for me.. But I got 2-3 games in background all the times and i only boy 2-3 chars so xD

I cleaned my and only installed 5-6 games so far xD
