3 or 4x EK's?

I was thinking of making a moneymaker account, but i till wonder what's the most efficient way.
Is it to have 3x EK's or 4x EK's, we're talking botting 24/7 with a possible break at SS since i'm not at home and need to use teamviewer.

So, what's the most efficient way? 3 or 4x EK's on one account?

3 because you'll never run out of stamina and level faster. if you have 4 ofc you'll never run out of stamina but you spend less time on each character which is not neccessary

Edit: the faster you get levels means, the faster you can hunt better shit and make more money

In one month, you have 720 hours. (Excluding 5 days/year for patch/downtime)

like everyone else said, 3 is enough to bot 24/7 one after the other non-stop, youll have that stamina and level faster than you would if you had 4, if you want more bots just make another account with 3 more knights :D

Actually... 10 minutes rest/1 minute of bonus = 20 hours rest/2hours

which would mean you need 12 chars/account to effectively 24/7 on bonus.

Yup, the worst thing that can happend is that you eventually never get above 30 hours of stamina on your chars. But that's only if your always at the computer logging it in when you can and always take it down to 14 hours.

3 eks and maybe u can make a rp to that training offline only (maybe when u get 100 dist skill u can use it)
and hope that u can bot from ss to ss cuz i got 3 chars peer account but i mostly use 2 chars since i start to bot like 6-7h after the ss. i barely bot the char number 3.
that happen when the ss is about 2:00am. and that why PunktG prefer to bot 4 chars per account (he is from poland or something) and he can bot so easy from ss to ss.

I'm pretty saddened at people who are saying "3"
I just use simple maths which dictates the answer is 4.

The thread starter stated "we're talking botting 24/7".

I have three characters on my account right now, and they are all low stamina that I can't bot any of them overnight, so 3 is WRONG.

(The below maths is not taking green stam into consideration as it won't be needed to)

Knight 1 = Logs in at SS and hunts until the next SS. (uses 24 hours of stamina, therefore needs to be offline for 24 x 3 hours = 72 hours.

Knight 2 = Logs in at SS and hunts until the next SS. (uses 24 hours of stamina, therefore needs to be offline for 24 x 3 hours = 72 hours. - Knight 1 has now been offline for 24 hours.

Knight 3 = Logs in at SS and hunts until the next SS. (uses 24 hours of stamina, therefore needs to be offline for 24 x 3 hours = 72 hours. - Knight 1 has now been offline for 48 hours.


The cycle now starts with Knight 1 again, but he has not gained back the stamina he had previously used, which means he will eventually run to below 14 hours stamina. As all 3 knights will.


You can do the Math for yourself, but the way i see it. Using 3 knights effectively without considerable breaks will eventually leave you with no chars to bot.


Simple maths dictates the answer is 4.

Knight 4 <- Should be here so that Knight 1 can gain another 8 hours stam, but it isn't, so lets go ahead without it.

Knight 1 has only gained 16 hours stam back from the 24 it has used.


Going like this, all knights will now be on 34 hours stam.

Even if you hunt knight 1 from 42 hours stam to 14, and rotate them that way, the maths still applies the same.


THIS ISN'T 100% CORRECT AS YOU NEED TO BE OFFLINE FOR 10 MINS BEFORE STAMINA STARTS TO REGEN, SO IT EVEN FURTHER PROVES U NEED 4.
If you wanted to take the 10 mins into account, then it could even mean u need 5 knights if you were literally going to bot 24/7 but i aint gonna fucking get into that or explain that in detail haha.

I would recommend 4 for a"24/7" account, if ur serious about it.

Assuming you're premmy; You bot till 14 hours, you need 3.25 days to get it all back, which means u need 4 chars total.

On my moneymaker accounts I use 3x. I log one in after SS, leave it on until SS kicks it out, log in another one after SS, gets kicked at next SS. Etc etc.

What don't you understand? For every 3 minutes you are logged off your character will gain 1 minute of stamina. 3 knights is enough to get around.

Personally I think it's is possible to go with 3eks,
if you factor in the fact that ss takes 20mins and the botter needs another 40mins to get on after ss, it's 1hr of stamina saved.
Taking that each ek has 26hrs to bot( from 40hrs to 14hrs,)
In addition, being in the spawn for 26 hrs doesn't mean that it will use on 26hrs of stamina depending on the spawn rate as well as the rate at which you are killing the creatures.
In addition, there is the time where you need to refill. So, if we take it that you need to deposit your loot every 6hrs.
Going by a 24hr window, the bot ek will have to refill 4times. Estimating that each refill takes about half an hr(depending on distance of spawn) the bot ek will spend 2hrs in a 24 hr window to refill.
Also, by estimation, a bot knight usually spends up to 2/3 of the time he spends there gaining exp(wasting stamina)
So going by calculations 2/3 of 26hrs will be 17.3 hrs.
So for each ek, 17.3 hrs of stamina wasted will actually take only 52 hrs to regenerate,
Considering that each of the other eks can provide another 26*2=52 hrs of botting time.
3 eks will be sufficient. This is excluding the 1hr buffer ss break as well as the refill time that will also help to regenerate lost stamina.
To make things easy, considering that he changes ek every 24hrs, the actual stamina he will use up is perhaps close to 16hrs. This will require 16*3= 48hrs. Considering that he has two other eks to bot(48hrs bot time)
I therefore conclude that 3eks will be sufficient.

First you say it was 17.3 hours stam used, then you say close to 16 hours.

By your first calculations it shows that if you are actually botting 24/7 then you will slowly start to see 3 ek's is not enough.

The reality is 99% of people say "24/7" but always have those days where they login late, power goes out, bla bla something happens... so that is the reason 3 is usually ok.

When talking pure 24/7 though I know that 3 chars is not enough, It may sound arrogant of me to say that but... I'm currently playing 3 chars in Dolera and they are all low stam I can't even bot them overnight.

I play my mage throughout the day, then my knight while i sleep, my mage and knight got low so i started to bot my pally. Now all chars are below 8 hours stam, therefore I can;t bot any of them while i sleep.

This is why i would say 3 chars is not enough.. Because i have botted 3 chars "24/7" for about 1-2 months now and i sometimes sleep with no chars on-line due to to stam.

I sometimes get pked and waste time offline until I log back in... so if i was playing non pvp I would need 4 chars even more than I do on hardcore pvp, lol

Edit: If 3 char's is enough for you, then you aint truly 24/7 ;)
