Hey,
So I'm wondering, is it possible to get a good free anti-virus, or do I have to pay to get a good one?
Please post the free ones that are good, if not any, then post which payed anti-virus I should get. Or whatever thoughts you may have.
(sorry, if this thread already exist then I'm sorry, but didn't find it searching)
:)

Hello :) i prefere Mcafee :) And yes, you must pay for anti virus, wich is good. the good ones, are updating new kinds of key-loggers and trojans every hour... i rly recommended Mcafee anti-virus ! its simple, and rly good :)
AVG is in my opinion the best free anti-virus program.
Just google "Download free AVG" :)

Kaspersky is the best paid one. Avast, AVG, or Microsoft Security Essentials are good free ones. Also, Malwarebytes is the best anti-malware software (free), and CCleaner is a great computer "cleaning" software (free).

McAfee and Norton are my two least favorite "popular" anti-virus software. :\ No offense.

To me they feel like bloatware more than anything. Kaspersky is consistently the best choice by independent studies, and their researchers are considered the best in new malware protection. However, I just use MSE (Microsoft Security Essentials).

Avast. Short.
Haven't used any other. But of course I try not to get myself in trouble, such as surfing on weird looking sites or whatever.
