Ahoi thar!

I come with a suggestion that is kind of needed now that the forum activity is increasing and has increased since the start of this forum. I saw this thread (http://forums.xenobot.net/showthread.php?11156-Getting-threads-closed) and thought tomyself that this forum needs a couple of new active moderators. I've noticed that some mods have gone more and more inactive with time and it's time we get some fresh mods around here. I have nothing against any of the current mods and hope that they take no offence to this post as I'm not asking them to get replaced (unless it is needed). We have an application part of the forums so maybe it's time to scroll through it in order to find some who are still active enough to keep the forum controlled.

I might have repeated myself a couple of times but with different words but I'm tired and I'm at work with nothing to do so deal with it :(

Well, Aydin has a point. Im beibg mentioned a few times per day, and I clean my inbox (500 pm limit) atleast once per week due to spam about basicly everything.
We do help alot, but some people are... dumb. Might sound harsh, but as he said in the thread you included in your post above, just edit it, clear it the fuck out if you'd like and im sure people wouldnt bother to reply. Its as simple as that.

And as for all the people who mention staff with:

Solution to this? Yes, use the fucking thread made for thibgs like this. Its being mentioned in every new scam thread, yet there is noone who bother to put some effort into posting in it. And still you guys just wait for ua to take action after totally ignoring us.

This post iant directed to anyone special, apart from all the fucks mentioned in this post. It's dedicated to the people who keep adding @ before useing the search function.

My post wasn't about Aydin being sick of closing threads. Just made me think that most of the mods have gone inactive with time and it's about time that we get a few new mods around here seeing how the forum activity is heavily increased from when Xeno started.

Nothing against the current mod's but, I have to agree. The forum is getting more and more active, and with that more and more crap is being posted everywhere. And with a few semi active mod's it might end up in chaos.

I think a few new trusted ones would be a good idea.

Nobody is forcing you to be a mod and if getting pms/tags from "stupid people" is too much of a drag then let someone else who's up for the task do it. I'm not pointing fingers or trying to offend anyone just trying to make a point.

I kinda agree on this. I'm very un-active lately since I'm working 70 hours a week. Also, is Floppy Jimmy even alive?

I do not mean that you need to replace us, but he is right, we are growing day by day and we do need more active mods.

I agree on this, a few fresh moderators could only do this forum good.
Tho i don't think there should be applications this time, i think DarkstaR can the other moderators can discuss and find person(s) for the job! :)

This is a good forum the mods act professional most time and try help you best they can, you have to remember they have real lives but as this bot is growing bigger it could do with a few fresh faces. In Darkstar we trust.

I don't feel we need any more moderators, yet. We are growing but the current mods, plus myself, are able to keep up with the activity. Where they aren't, fixes can be implemented.

New mods will come eventually, but not yet.

I would just promote the staff so the mods could edit everything and things would solve itself.
For now theres plenty of ataff spread out unable to edit what they see, as theres bo report function, its being ignored in hope anyone else with moderate access to that section will see it. Unfortuntly that doesnt happen very often since everyone watch diffrent threads due to diffrent intrests.

Great idea. While we're at it, lets give US state senators the same powers as the president?

We have layers of power for a reason. Things that you can't solve, you don't have to worry about - pass those things on to the higher up members. Me, Syntax, and Spectrus are the most active 3, and Jo3, Messed, and Luls still come around enough to get stuff done. Infernal Bolt also has substantial rights, though not as many as the supers.

Well, then nothing would ever get done. Laws must passed through the Senate, and, in history, I don't think there's ever been a law pass with 100% support (even if there have, 99% of laws don't have 99% support). Presidents have VETO rights, which means any law going through the senate, even if it wins with majority, could be VETO'd by a Senator who didn't support it.
