help with lag

ok i got a problem lagging on a high level chars when chasing after mobs . i can map click and run great i can click on screen and run great but when the bot chases after a creature it lags and im losing alot of kills due to it ive tryed to use latrix latancie fix but it didnt work. any ideas

One thing I've noticed is if you have follow turned on in targeting, TURN OFF follow in the client. As in click the red guy standing still, not the green guy. If I keep follow turned on in the client, it lags when I do follow. Other than that I have no clue :S

It's just general lag with ur internet
You should get something like battleping to fix your lag
Cost about 6bucks a month but it helps alot.
There is also a trial version that shuts down every 20mins, you can use that to test if it works for you

You should try leatrix latency fix and see if it helps

If it doesnt help, you could try to set the targetting to "do nothing" and use the follow creature in client (the green guy) and uncheck "auto chase off" in the tibia client by going Options > General.

tryed the leatrix and it fucked my computer had to reformat and ill give them a try

Really? How did it fuck your computer? Never heard about anyone having such problems with leatrix latency fix. I know alot of people from this forum are using it including myself.

idk after u used it and restarted my computer wouldnt load desktop it would just be a black screen and some how i got it to come back up then the other day it wouldnt load no matter what i did so finally i had to reformat. that was the only thing that i did differnt on this computer so i dont really know if it was just that or something else but since that was the only change i made .

Hmm, thats really wierd. I see now that the thread had a direct download for the latency fix. I thought he had just linked to a website like this one where i downloaded it: http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info13581-LeatrixLatencyFix.html. <--- this link has been posted on this forum before, and it was also added as sticky at the old neoforums, so this one should atleast be safe. (I dont know about the direct download dragdenied added maybe its unsafe?)

no havent tryed it been trying to level my lower levels up but its slow going as free account using out side orc fort lol
