What this means is that we have purchased a stand-alone, powerful machine in a data-center that is not restricted by the data limits of the old shared hosting environment we were using to host the server, and, consequently, we should no longer run into hosting issues or data overages. Since we realize this outage had a far reaching effect on users, every active XenoBot user has been given 3 free days of XenoBot to make up for lost time. Additionally, the free supplementary account (offline/test) will still work for anybody until the server save of March 21th, 2013.

Please be aware that over the next few days it is possible that we experience small down times due to server improvements or outstanding configuration issues, but they should not last long or be harmful. Furthermore, the payment system will be down until we can ensure the stability of the site. We are very sorry for any issue this fiasco may have caused.

DarkstaR On my pc I cant login in xenobot and the forum is not working. I've good internet conection and I can play tibia/lol or navegate in any other website...
It seems like xenobot new host is blocking my IP or my company connection somehow. I've also tried with offline/test like yesterday and happends the same. I can access forum on my phone without problems and I've some friends that has the same issue trying to connect...
Any solution?

It just releases the cache and obtains all DNS records new when requested. Anyways, stick with Google public DNS. I personally use it at home and it kicks ass.

You can use the bot with the offline/test account. If you still can't see the site, enable Google Public DNS on your home computer.

Dude, fact is: i use xenobot now more than 1 month, and i was happy with the bot. But since 3 days ( i know that you got dos atk) i am unhappy with it!

Fact is: I just play on the server aurora, and atm i am pissed of to pay 4 a bot and cant use it.
I know that you got many troubles right now, but fix the update, taht i can use the function 4 my account...

i createt a new char on a "normal" wolrd because i thouth "damn i must use things which i paid" -> but it doesnt make sense to play on a other server than my main one....(and dont say wt the monney its around 1:3)

i hope you will fix it as fast as possible.. and i dont care about the weekend etc... if you SELL stuff to customer handle it that "users" getting happy with it!

The server issues don't affect the bot. Any lag is either the Tibia servers, your computer, or your network.

You have to delete the Config file in the main folder of Xenobot. Or well I did that and it worked for me.

Looks like you've been infected by the exact same botnet which is attacking the XenoBot servers. Get a good virus scanner, I recommend ESET Smart Security, but something like AVG might do the trick.

Looks like +/-, there are ongoing attacks but I'm on Skype with DarkstaR quite a lot and it's a constant battle. CloudFlare is implemented as you've probably seen, and it is working away to hide the XB website IP from the real world as much as possible, directing all DDoS traffic to a CloudFlare server which will simply absorb the traffic, thus stopping the attack, unfortunately it seems there are a few ways of bypassing it, but as the attacks continue DarkstaR is constantly learning more about the attacker, and their methods, so it will eventually reach a point where they will be outsmarted, as XB becomes "one step ahead"...

It's a long shot (and by that, I mean probably not the case) but, if your computer does have a drone on it that is participating in the attack, please allow me to investigate it before deleting it with an AV. I do malware analysis, and being exposed to a sample might give me enough information to track down the attacker and take some counter-measures.

thanks for the quick reply but i dont think my encryption or vpn was the problem... i managed to get about 20 seconds of unprotected internet before my provider blocked my tethering again and it still told me the info was wrong... ah well.. im buying xeno next week anyway when i get real broadband :) thanks darkstar and good luck fighting those DDoS attacks.

Hey, been reading about the DDoS attacks here, and trust me, I know how you feel lol we were being DDoS attacked for a week on RBP about 2-3 weeks ago too and I even heard TibiaAuto got attacked too. I'm not sure. I don't know if TibiaTunnel is responsible for the attacks or if it got you blacklisted via cloudflare, or what. I still need to look at the software before pointing fingers.
