I'm not a super advanced scripter, but I remember NeoBot came out with this almost at its end.

Basically what I'm suggesting is a way to Invite players to a party, a way to Accept an invite, and a way to check if you're in a party.

So something like Party.Check() ; Party.Invite(Playername) ; Party.Accept(Playername)

Hopefully someone else also finds this useful! :cool:

Nice suggestion, although I'm not too sure of the uses.

Well, assuming that the Client class is added (allowing for reconnecting/xlogging), one could set up a 100% AFK PvP trainer, where the chars reconnect after server save and set up a Party to resume training. ;)

Another use, of course, would be to automatically invite a large number of players on screen to your party (in a war, for example) for those lazy folks out there (myself included).

Sounds like a good idea :D!

Too bad in a few months you can't pvp train unless cip decides to implement the duel system.

Wait, what duel system? What the fuck are they doing now? oO

.... the preview going on right now removes all forms of friendly fire, if you are in a party you cannot damage your team mates. The only way to pvp train is with a skull.

I just now checked it out. I think my understanding is different than yours: from what I can tell, Cip wants to avoid having friendly-fire conflicts (both in parties and in guilds), so what they plan on doing is making a skull system INSIDE these groups, by this I mean that once you're in a party everybody is "safe" until one of the members attacks another one. When that happens, all of the members INSIDE THE PARTY see this attacker with a Yellow Skull, but it's only visible by the members inside the party. This is how I understood it, I don't think that people outside the party see the skull as well, meaning that in a party you can still PvP without fear of outside aggression.

Correct me if I'm wrong though, I haven't been on the preview world and have no evidence as backup, I'm just stating my interpretation from the Preview Announcement.

I'm playing on the preview server, there is no friendly fire whatsoever as of right now.

Even when the "protection mode" / "safe mode" or w/e they call it (that little fist thing) is off?

Yes, regardless of any settings, you cannot attack friends in party/guild.

Well then, either Tibia fucked up on the announcement page, or it hasn't been implemented just yet. Because it says so right there on the page, they intend to allow friendly fire but with a certain type of skull system.
