Yo , been chat in the forums to prevent botters on the 10day 2x shit that tibia will do updates everyday to prevent bots , was a suggestion by some players and the CMS agreed and said it was a good idea and we will try to make it happen DarkstaR any info about this? how will the bot work etc etc

Let me quote a statement that Craban once made concerning daily patches: "This would either have to be done manually and thus cost a lot of work time, or it would have to be at least partially automated. That however bears the problem that whatever is automatic can also be countered by an automatic system."

Think about this: how effective would such a fake patch be? Would the cost-benefit ratio be favourable enough to consider this a viable solution? Considering that quick and easy changes are likely to be countered quickly and easily... probably not.
Also, client patches always bear the risk of problems related to downloading/installing new client versions for fair players.

For these reasons, client patches are usually done in order to implement something for real, and not just for "show" with limited effectiveness.

If there is, perhaps it might do some people a little good to learn how to use another tool called "Hands".
I pretty much 99.99% only level with a bot, and yes sometimes i use a bot in war too, but mostly for cure paralyze, spy level, and just shit like that.

I just find it funny that, when an update comes out, 90% of people literally REFUSE to fight :(

DarkstaR i was just wondering how its even legal to create a bot program. Wouldnt it be considered like tampering with someones game? Or something? Somewhat like hacking into someones software?
Now i have nothing against you this goes for all bots.
I dont knoa much about computer stuff/law etc..
And im not trying to say u should
be punished.
It doesnt make sense to me..
Shouldnt cipsoft be attacking you for doing these things after all they delete botters and it just seems kike they would be able to do something to all these bot makers..they dont support botting, yet do nothing to people busting their game

Nothing impressive as that, I am managing 100kexp/hour at Frost Giants on a level 90EK and 120kexp/hour at a Tomb beyond TP on 85ED, the EK is paying for the ED's supplies so I'm happy that I can bot these afk and without fear of anyone running into me and reporting (I've seen about one person in each in like 3 weeks) :)

I'll go manual with the ED and give it loads of SD's and see what I get at Dragon Lords though :D
