I would like to introduce a small program I have been working on. This program will use your Google Gmail account to send a text message to your phone. It does this when it detects an XenoBot alert. I have created a test program for those of you who would like to test it before buying. It does not work for all phone carriers because of certain restrictions with certain carriers. Please use the test version before purchasing.

Here is a screen of the full version.

You can download the test version >> here (https://www.dropbox.com/s/g4ovb0mmx284a9g/Xeno SMS Tester.rar). <<

The full version can now be downloaded for a small fee.

Note: I wrote this program using a scripting language named "AutoIT". This scripting language causes false positives with some of the less reputable Anti Viruses.
Proof of that statement:
http://www.autoitscript.com/forum/topic/34658-are-my-autoit-exes-really-infected/

Anyway, I will release the source to @DarkstaR (http://forums.xenobot.net/member.php?u=2) or another Mod upon DarkstaR's request so that it may be verified as clean.

I've got a gmail acc but I dont know anything about these sms, do they charge or anything? 0.o

Great little project btw I was gonna do something similar to this using an Arduino to light up my bedroom with LEDs and tweeter speakers XD But i guess SMS is a bit better ^.^

Tried with several different service provider (including the one im currently using on my phone) and I didnt get it to send a sms to me allthough it did send me a email. Even tho it was just a fail notifaction it is still useful. Thanks for sharing and its great idea keep it going! :)

Thank you for trying it out. Do you mind letting me know what service provider you have. The program works by sending an email to an address related to your service provider, The service provider then forwards that email to your phone. What kind of email are you receiving? Could I see a copy? It will tell me if you entered the wrong number or if your were sending to the wrong address.

The number needs to be in this format "2564205555".
Send an email to yourself using the SMS feature in your phone, (you can simply put an email address in place of a number on most phones)
then check the emails sender, it will show what address I need to make the program work for you.
For example mine looks kinda like this: [email protected]

No charge, except whatever it cost you to receive texts.

There is nothing that will harm you here.

The error for att is normal "Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:"
It will do this if you send to the wrong number or the number is incorrect for that carrier.

The other error is a problem though.
I think there could be something wrong with that specific provider address as I get the same error. Please help me to ensure you are using the correct provider by doing the following.

Send a SMS message from your phone to your email, (you can simply put an email address in place of a number on most phones)
then check the emails sender, it will show what address I need to make the program work for you.
For example mine looks kinda like this: <MY NUMBER>@txt.att.net

[email protected]

and there is our problem I think.

Failed to deliver to '[email protected]' < has an S where an M should be

Send an email to <your number>@mms.tele2.se ([email protected]) and then inform me on whether or not you receive a text message.

Also what is the full name of your service provider?

When I recevied the sms on my gmail it also said "You cannot reply to this MMS by email." which obviously led to that I didn't received any sms on my phone. And my service provider name is Tele2

It said it was an MMS instead of SMS, Is there another way for your phone to send an actual SMS message? If not, then this could be an issue with the provider.

Edit: I found this.....

TELE2 Users: add e-mail forward to [email protected], where XXXXXXX is mobile number.Important note to Tele2 users:
You must register at Tele2 for receiveing SMS notifications. To register, send SMS with the word ON to the number 1612.

I dont think so, at least I haven't found any way to do it yet.

@Bafucin (http://forums.xenobot.net/member.php?u=2028) try my suggestion in the edit above, it seems you have to turn on the option for your provider possibly.

To register, send SMS with the word ON to the number 1612

EDIT: If this does not work then try asking your provider about sending email to sms and vice versa.

Just release it for free, or someone else will... It's fairly easy to do, just watch the sound files found in xenobot to see if they are acessed, when they are, send an email.

Please reload this page after approximately 20 seconds, you will then get access to your content."

I sent you a private message, please respond. It seems to be a problem with Oronjo. I received the money although they did not record the transaction.

Really neat program good luck :). Just out of curiosity can you explain the program you used to make it in laymen terms :P. If I had a phone right now I think I would get some use out of this.

EDIT: Eion
EDIT 2: Can you set it up for different clients and such?

I used a scripting language called "AutoIT" to write this, if you Google it you will learn all about it.

In simple terms it attempts to detect if any tibia client is either flashing orange in the windows taskbar or reading from the xeno sound files. It will also clear the orange flash and it allows any alarm to happen for about 15 seconds before triggering a SMS to avoid short walker stuck alarms sending SMS. Although it is not foolproof for everyone and still needs some work, thus the reason for the very low price. Basically just leecher protection.

Using a capable smart phone will allow you to remotely control your desktop through free applications such as "Teamviewer" thus giving you the ability to keep decent watch on your gold farming zombie minions.
