Same, saw a few soft boots on the ground along with other items but didn't get any :/

An npc gave you exp everytime you said hi,yes :P and congratz to those who didn't get deleted but abused it (me) got my char from 8-28 in less then an hour pretty sweet

How long was the bug up for? Could've done this with like a gazillion characters, doing 10k quest with each. If you transferred the money physically (well, still virtually but w.e.) instead of using a bank transfer, it might've been safe. Easy cash, then use the characters for mass pking lol.

I could see getting 9 or 10 characters to 8 in one day, if you're facc. If you're pacc and keep trading off eq to the new characters, while botting in the max number of places per premmy accounts you have, I could see getting upwards of 20, easily. It takes an hour or two at most to bot to 8 in premmy bugs. Or at least it did when I last had premmy.

But really this all doesn't matter because the exp glitch is apparently long gone.

How long was the bug up for?

Not sure the exact time frame... CIP released an update, and in that update they fucked up somewhere and one of the NPCs gave you 100 exp every time you spoke to him (Some people were able to get over 1kk/hr abusing it). As far as I know, the bug was there the whole time (A few weeks) until people actually found it. After people found it it spread pretty quickly and was fixed within a couple days. Most of the people who abused the bug got deleted on the characters they used it on. I personally had my highest level character deleted for it (Took from level 80 - 82 using the bug) and then took from level 32(?) - 45 on a noob ED I had. My ED didn't get deleted though :)

lvl 80 who got 2 lvls deleted and a lvl 30 who got like 12 lvls didnt get deleted lol.

727,000 experience for level 30-45.
1,621,000 experience for level 80-82.

That's probably why the 82 got flagged and deleted while the 45 didn't; it's not unusual to grab those mid levels quite easily and wouldn't really warrant suspicion.
