Bug Report
Operating System:
Other
Short Description:
Alarm Sound; None!
Behaviors:
Loss of or impaired functionality
Indepth Description:
I am using Windows 8 and when I first installed Tibia and Xenobot and logged in, everything was working fine.
I am not sure what happened but when I had downloaded some scripts from Xeno and started to test them on my character, I noticed there was no sound.
The sound from everything else is working fine, YouTube, iTunes etc everything works. However the sound on Tibia is non-existent, please help!

Check your computers volume settings. This is likely something having to do with your system, not a bug with Xeno.

I've done all of this mate, I have checked through everything! Do you have any ideas of what I may need to tweak or edit within my settings? As far as I am concerned, everything seems to be working fine on the PC.

When the alarm should be playing, there should be a specific volume bar for Tibia in the sound settings. Make sure that is turned up.

Yeah I see that. It is on full volume, the screen flickers when I am not watching Tibia to show there is an alert, but there is just no volume whatso ever.

As I said in the other thread, this is most likely caused when having Tibia minimized. I get no sound when I have it minimized but once I got it running in the back the sounds are working.

I don't have Tibia minimized mate, I have it as my main screen, I also have dual monitors and have Tibia spread across two screen when I am botting and MC'ing. I appreciate all of your feedback, I am wondering what other options I have to figure this out? Swaghetti DarkstaR

The volume control should also have something like a "current sound level" bar beside the volume control that shows that sound is playing. Does yours show this? If so, is it showing sound being played, or not? If it is, the problem is on your system. If its not, the problem might possibly be XenoBot.

Yeah man, I see the Tibia icon I just cannot configure it to be playing sound, my client flashes when there is an alert but nothing sound wise! 7128
Any ideas? DarkstaR

I have solved the issue, it had something to do with my driver for Windows8.
My apologies! Thanks for the feedback though. DarkstaR, please shut this thread down! :)
