View Full Version : Improved "Follow" for targeting.

If you use follow on a creature that runs at certain hp% with stance "Stand While Fighting", the bot doesn't always keep up. It's like trying to chase a hasted GS on a lvl 20, when it should be like chasing a rat on a lvl 100.

Using the settings: Set target to "Follow" and stance to "Chase Opponent" results in strange and uncoordinated movements.

I've tried using these settings: Set target to "Do Nothing" and stance to "Chase Target" works well, but if you kill your target and a new one appears on the screen, the bot forgets to loot the first target which can be frustrating if something decent drops.

If only the bot could run a little bit faster.. :(

I have the same problem! However, its not xenobot that needs to be faster its the internet you use..
I believe the bot follows the monster using a coordination of arrow keys, thats why it is slow. People with very low ping that can run with arrow keys like its a mapclick keep up.

I have the same problem on american gameworlds, I think it would be good to just add a 'chase opponent' option in targeting for people with higher pings. Also setting targeting to 'do nothing' and having the stance 'chase opponent' will result in the stance going back to 'stand while fighting' when the bot tries to attack and loot something at the same time.

I've had this problem and my ping to the servers i play on is < 30ms which is more than low enough for smooth walking with arrow keys - I can't catch sibangs on a lvl 90 ek with xenobot but I can easily catch them manual walking or chase opponent.

It seems this doesn't affect everyone but in some cases (mine) it most definitely isn't a ping issue.

I dont think its my internet, when I manually walk with arrow keys its lightning quick.

Go to options in tibia client, general and untick "auto chase off" so the auto chase will permanently stay on.

but using it like this, you miss ALOT of loot (say if ur at wyrms or dl's, you will most likely miss out on 30% of loot) so solving one problem creates another one in this case :(

Put you Looter on "Last" Instead of "First" And it will loot alot better. :)

Tried that too, it works ok when you have less than 3 monsters on your screen. But if you kill a couple and chase one so far that the dead bodies go out of the screen the bot forgets about them :S which happens frequently as the char takes a while to chase the target, so all dead bodies are out of screen.
