View Full Version : Cavebot wastes an absurd amount of supplies due to targeting inefficiency.

So I have been watching my character (knight) run around for some time now and I noticed every time without fail it will always target the creature furthest away resulting in the character being surrounded by 4+ creatures because it tries to run up to the creature to attack. This targeting system really needs an additional priority check for distance and it needs a stance that isn't "follow/dynamic" most of the time following a creature results in too many monsters being lured on the character causing massive waste... Please take this issue seriously as this bot is unusable in this current state due to the amount of waste when hunting.

I would say that would have to be the one labeled "Proximity: All".

I would disagree there. I am an utter noob when it comes to botting, but i have been botting 2 chars an EK and a RP and I havnt had a waste issue yet. It all comes down to the settings:p

I would love to see validation for the 'unusable' arguement. I guess you have never used anything but NeoBot because this blows everything else away, lol.

Well i havent really bothered to get into the whole waypoint making, so mind if i ask what u would reccomend the proximity to be at? For a knight that is, like 1-2?
