What do you think of him, and the whole NSA scandal?

I like what he did, but I'm sure it goes a lot deeper than we are told now. I know for a fact that the KPD ("dutch FBI") copies entire servers from several datacenters, who knows what they do with all that information

Sure, they listen to me. But why and what are they doing with the information? And as well, how safe is the information stored?

We are all terrorist, and with the amount of information they keep about us and that today, they can see us almost all the time, they would be kinda sure who is a terrorist and who's not. Terrorism is a strong word and we put attention to a word like that and you can use that as an excuse almost everywhere about anything, if you use it right.

Is Snowden a bigger hero because he did know what he was up to, or is Bradley Manning who tried to keep it as a secret? Both of them deserves the attention.

And yes, I lock the door when I go to toilet even when I don't got anything to hide.

If I'm not wrong, they somewhere did say that they either was listening or were going to listen to gaming conversations because "terrorists can now hide behind game chats". Long time I read about it thought so I don't remember it that good, but something around that.

It's not only about doing something wrong, it's also about what should be wrong and what's not accepted in a social society. As example, in sweden some banks just canceled all payments to a reseller of porn stuff and a reseller of splatter movies. Nothing wrong with them, but the banks dislikes them.

If someone ask you if you want to make an optional test of your urine searching for drugs, it's not really optional. If you say No to the test, you are mostly going to be suspected, for refusing a optional drug test.

Whatever the reason is, maybe you want to hide that you use drugs, or maybe you just can't pee infront of other people, you are suspected if you refuse it, whatever you got something to hide or not.

Now it would cost alot of money to hire people being in your home and they would sure get threats and people would also feel more uncomfortable. So they watch you as much as they can over the net instead. It's the same thing mainly. EDIT: Haven't slept for about 30 hours, and noticed how weird I wrote that. It's not an "instead of hiring spy in your home", but it's about the same thing when they spy on all your conversations and everything you are doing online, as you are online very often.
