I like the second one here, it more suiting to what I'm looking for.. Something like a brand's symbol. Just like how Nike has the check mark, Adidas has the three stripes and FedEx has the -> arrow. What I'm looking for is something that we'll use from here on out, as a permanent logo, so people can easily depict our 'brand' from the others. The word 'scripts' isn't necessarily required either, so I like that.

These are pretty awesome. ;) I like the effects, font and colors of the two on the left side. Is it possible you can do maybe like an 'JX' emblem or something, sort of like the circle piece of the last image?

Haha we could completely rename 'JXScripts' to something else if it came down to it, currently JXScripts doesn't have a letter 'S' to signify Syntax unless you count the 'S' in 'Scripts'. The idea has been tossed around some to possibly change the brand-name but no definite plans yet.

@ all above:
A lot of these are pretty awesome, we have a lot of ideas floating around. Before we decide to do a complete make-over for the thread, which would require new: headers, table designs, etc, we're trying to find a a solid logo. A badge, emblem, stamp, something so that when people see it they immediately know "Hey, I know that brand." sort like looking at the nike check and knowing its Nike without having to read "Nike Shoes, Inc." If you guys have any ideas about renaming, re-branding, whatever then feel free to try it out - who knows we might go for a completely new theme & name altogether.

I like them both, anything possibly more along the lines of white/grey/black? Something that would fit a 'clean' theme, less dark and more vibrant but gay like br green/ br pink / br yellow.. If that makes any sense. I think if the actual text was silver and the border around the text looked almost liked a shadow instead (on the black emblem) then it would look as if the text was poppin' out a bit. Certainly enjoy the big ass "JX" though, the next is nice and suits a clean theme. <3 I'm definitely entertained to see more.

Haha well I believe that, when I saw the image (posted below) I knew you understood what we were looking for. Simple yet informative, if there were maybe a tad bit more added to something like this it would be great. I think we're also looking to see something with the letter 'S' on it for Syntax. ;)

Wow.. Just wow. I made one in paint too and was going to upload it, but decided not to. The funny thing is, is that ours looked almost the same, even with the star in the top right corner and the J looked the same. I made mine yellow but it is still quite funny that it turned out like that.

Oh yes, I like this one quite a bit, although the mirrored text is a bit outdated and I'm unsure why most people use it nowadays. This looks great overall though ;) the colors are nice, solid, bright yet not overwhelming like a Brazilian flag. I agree with Adky though, the first one is by far better.. the simplicity overtakes the complexity. By the way, I've started taking applications to become a JXS Scripts tester, information is on our thread if you're still interested.

We chose a new logo about 2 days ago, everything posted here since then has been taken into consideration in context of who is the most capable artist. Sometime next week I'll be sending an offer to a few of you asking if you might be interested in joining our team as an artist. This has benefits, just like everything else we do, but there's also a lot of work involved in the beginning.

I cannot spoil much at the moment so we'll kick the bucket around until sometime next week. For anyone that's still interested, we'll be needing to revamp our thread next. We'll be needing a new thread layout, header, signature(s), etc. Although currently you don't know what our logo looks like and based on that you don't know what kind of theme we're aiming for but if you want to throw some stuff around, be our guests.

Once again, next week I'll send an offer to a few of you asking if you might be interested in joining our team as an artist based on what we see here in this thread.
