Hey, since many people think Cipsoft is banning peoples depending on how they finance the premium I just wanted to make a little poll about it.

You can also post some details if you want!

The question is: Have you had an account banned for botting, if so how did you pay the premium time?

Got banned once on premium account. Bought 3 months for real cash and got banned after like 20 days. Same happened to my friend, we used to use TibiaAuto for like 2 weeks tho so that had to be the reason :D

You get instant deletion now when you get banned right?

Haven't been banned since ElfBot, tho haven't really botted alot (like everyday 24/7)

Good poll, I usually just use ingame cash to fund my moneymakers, so premium scrolls of market.

I've always thought about this, on my "Good" or main moneymakers I usually purchase premium via the website, I've always believed its "better"

Indeed, we just need many votes... If we just have a small amount of votes it won't show any concrete stuff.

The theory of having a subscription will lower the probability of getting banned...

It's like selling drugs and if you pay your taxes consistantly, you lower the probability of doing hard time.

Where is the logic in that?

I've only been banned once. And it was on a free account, when I was using Tibiabot NG.

Statistically and mathematically, this is a flawed way to prove a point or get any real idea on the figure. Since the distribution of premium purchases is unevenly and unmeasurably skewed towards shorter times, there is no way to make sense of this poll in any way that matters other than to just exist.

If you really want some insight on this theory, you need to get multiple, equally distributed groups for each option and to look within them.

I understand what you mean, but that would require more time etc. If we get many votes we can still get a picture of it, maybe not 100%.

No. You will get no picture of anything. That's my point.

I'm not sure how you think numbers work, but when you're missing 3 parts of a 4 part equation, you cannot solve it.

Well, I don't think that he is trying to get a solution, just something to evaluate, like you said it's not possible to solve an equation without having so many parts missing, however the more parts you have the more accurate guess or several guesses you can make.

I believe this is just non-sense anyways, like the theory about older accounts that should have some strange power against the banhammer.
Even tho this would make more sense, since it is about their income afterall.

Perhaps not the worst way to start evaluating whether cip are really picking and choosing who they ban. Perhaps if we poll enough theroies we can start to see if any have stock to them.

Yea, exactly what I thought!
