Does anyone know why there are streaks on my screen? Only occurs when I use x9 but it never used to..

Looks like a driver issue. They are distinct patterns you can see which seem to be an issue with interpreting the textures given to the gpu.

DirectX is a low level graphics engine, not a driver set. What he would want to do is install the drivers specific to his video card, specifically using Catalyst Control Center (AMD's Driver Software Suite Thingamajig)
