So I'm wondering if its good to do this. Or better to use weapon. With higher atk. Seems like if u kill creators weak to it it might help more. Or no? Creatures``

in my opinion its no point to enchant weapon, i think you need enchanted weapon only when you are hunting tombs with ghosts at knight :)

Ok guys please explain to him instead of just giving him a 2 Word answere , yes enchanting weapons is better in some cases like when you're hunting dragons /dragonlords enchanting your weapon if enchantable with ice will give u better exp/h and doesnt cost much to enchant the weapons in my opinion its Worth it depending on what you are hunting , For example dragons , dragonlord spots both are weak to ice = good to enchant , if u hunt in a spot where some monsters strong vs ice some weak not Worth it rather stick with psyk dmg , Gl hf

Well, the offer is open (L).
The important thing to remember when considering enchanting weapons is how to practice safely. On a serious note, you shouldn't enchant any weapon you can't replace instantly. For example, if you have a 100k weapon, and 500k+ in the bank, you could easily enough enchant your weapon and not worry about it because if it came to it, you could replace it. However, if you enchanted your 100k weapon and had only 50k left afterwards, then you wanted to hunt somewhere else, you might get worse exp/h or profit as a result. It's kinda a pain in the ass to think about. If you're gonna bot for long periods, fine, go for it. Example: botting soils, most people who do so use enchanted weapons as the benefit may only be 5% or so (take icy war axe, look at outline below for calculations), but in reality that converts to a large amount of cash in the 6 months they will bot (800k/day is what I used to make at soils). Consider 800k per day, 5% extra is 40k extra per day. Over 2 months that's 1.2kk botting every day. Not something to be sniffed at.
An unenchanted War Axe has 48/10 atk/def. An Icy War Axe has 39/9/10 atk/ice/def, that means it loses 9 (around 25%) attack, and gains 9 (around 25%) icy damage. If you consider that a fire elemental (blazing, for this example) is then 25% weak to ice, you can say that 25% of your damage will be increased by 25%, thus 25% of 25% is your increase in damage output, in this instance calculating to give you 5% more damage against fire elementals when using a weapon with approximately 25% elemental damage.
So yeah, that 5% extra makes a difference when you are going at it pretty hardcore, but if you're botting say tortoises it could still be beneficial I guess, since although the %'s are smaller, the % of your damage that will be done by fire damage will be increased because your skills will be lower. All depends how you look at it, and on the formulas of CIP (which I don't know off the top of my head).

fenol yeah. I know not use it against strong lol. But yeah I'm wondering if its better to use let's say mystif blade ice. Or blade of corruption. Against dragons? Or like mystic and fire against gs or the blade?

Word bro thanks. But; theirs no 100k weapons enchantable xD
But in the case u pointed out. The atk 44 reduced to 36 + 8 element damage won't hit higher than a melee above in atk like sov etc..

Here's a way to work out the % increase in damage against a specific creature:
Take your weapon, look it up on wiki as icy / firey / w.e, and take the number of attack points which are converted to a magic based damage (e.g 9 ice attack points in my previous example), now work out what percentage this is of the total damage:
Original damage = 48.
Icy damage = 9.
48 / 9 = 5.33r.
So your ratio for the damage is 1:5.33 (for each 5.33 attack points you have in melee, you now have 1 in element).
Work that out as a fraction:
1 / 5.33 = 0.188
Work it out as a percentage:
0.188 x 100 = 18.8%.
Round it to something easier to work with:
18.8% = ~20%
Now take the % weakness the target creature has to the element which you will use.
Blazing Fire Elemental = 25% weak to Ice.
Now you must calculate your weapons ice damage percentage against the creatures weakness percentage:
20% of 25% = your damage increase using an enchanted weapon = 5%.
I could fucking swear I got something wrong in that, but I don't have the energy to try correct it now.

No worries mate, see my next post for how to work it out for any weapon, it's kinda confusing and a little inaccurate due to rounding, but it should give you a rough idea of the actual advantage. If you're gonna profit by 100k per day, you'll get that % extra (e.g 5% extra, earning 100k per day, is about 5k extra per day). Is it worth 5k extra per day to enchant your weapon? Possibly, I guess the cost of enchanting is quite low, 300gp for 2k hits or whatever it is, so can't be so bad. It's just a matter of thinking a little. The weapon cost I guess is kinda irrelevant based on that information (that no weapons are 100k), since I think almost everyone is capable of earning 100k quite quickly nowadays, or at least anyone with a bot who has some experience at botting...

Yes but do you think its better then using a higher physical atk weapon? Lower phsyical atk enchanted vs. Higher atk weapon unchantable

It depends I guess on the difference. If your % damage increase is higher using an enchanted weapon than the % increase on the higher attack weapon (over the lower unenchanted weapon) then I guess it's worth while. Example:
Weapon with 30 attack, enchanted.
Weapon with 40 attack, unenchanted.
Increase in attack for using the weapon with 40 attack is 25%.
If you were to get 25% or more damage increase (as calculated previously to be only 5%) then it would be worth while using the enchanted weapon.
The numbers aren't exact, but it's a good guide. Which weapons are we talking about in particular? If you can give me their attack, enchanted and unenchanted, and the attack of the higher level weapon, I can tell you an approximate damage increase using each weapon type. Of course it won't be 100% accurate I think, but I still say it's worth while to look at the numbers. Would also need to know the target creature, so I could calculate the damage increase (primarily need to know it's % weakness to the damage type of the enchantment).

Uhm blade of curroption. And mystic blade enchanted
It might be better using enchanted considering the hit or miss scenerio with melee.
