The best EQ as of now for paladins?
And, best weapon of choice for paladins?

I mean it all depends on what you're hunting IMO, depends on what suits you most in terms of the % defensive passives of the newest items. Death resistant items for Ghastly Drags or the Physical Defence for anything that hits hard, I guess. I'd personally use anything with Physical defence passives + distance fighting, since I like out-damaging my mobs.


This is the best set of equipment for high-level Paladins. The set includes Elite Draken Helmet, Depth Lorica, which can be replaced with Master Archer's Armor, Yalahari Leg Piece, which can be replaced with Prismatic Legs, Prismatic Boots which can be replaced with Boots of Haste or Soft Boots. Warsinger Bow or Mycological Bow combined with Crystalline Arrows offers the best range, hit chance, average damage and cost-efficiency. However, a Royal Crossbow or Thorn Spitter while using Prismatic Bolts or Infernal Bolts will offer higher maximum damage. For defense, Assassin Stars and a shield would be used.

I never really used tibiawikis info since its usually wrong, i'd rather see someone with high paladin skills give me an answer, ofcourse it depends on what you hunt, but simply, there is always something that beats everything else.

IMO, thorn spitter is useless, bow is better both profitwise and damage wise in the end as far as i can tell right now.
The EQ will always be monsterbased, no matter what vocation you are i guess.

As a paladin I always wear elite draken helmet, prismatic/soft boots and warsinger bow+crystallines. - best combination you'll find for botting.

For monsters that hit a lot on physical: prismatic armor/legs.
For monsters that hit a lot on death: divine plate or depth lorica/yala legs
For monsters that doesn't hit a lot on physical/death: master archer armor + prismatic legs

My opinion on pally weapons, I'd go for a bow anyday, preferably The Warsinger - the fucking range, bad ass name, in addition the arrows are lighter than bolts, meaning you can carry more of them each hunt.

Maybe, but i just sold mine because i think bow is cheaper and do more damage overall.

Bow. Arrows are lighter(0.10oz) (1000-2000 arrows over bolts saves you 200-400 cap)
Myco/Warsinger is 60-50 oz lighter than Royal Crossbow.
Damage is the same between the two.
If you want to use a crossbow, use Thorn Spitter (Which usually ranges from 6-8kk) for a very small damage boost (this is due to hit rating being less.)


You should supply your character with following items;

Depth Lorica/MAA, Prismatic Armor
