knight using a bow

seen some casts of high level knights using bows in pvp..what's the purpose of that, what does it do for them?

I know ED is using bow to paralyse without unjust, but never seen EK using bow :P

best I can think of is swapping but idk, I haven't done pvp for like a year or so.
