When to Switch

Hi all,

I'm botting a druid, when is the best time to switch from a Sword to a Rod?
As right now mana is tight so its hard to bot with Rod :)

~30 lvl - earth elementals or tomb.
~50 lvl - tarpit tomb (vampires)

If you want to level quick go Earth Elementals at 30 lvl, otherwise you can stay larvas till 50 and go Vampires :)

Whilst I greatly appreciate your advice, and will no doubt follow it and go to Elements at 30, my question was when should I switch from Sword to Rod on my druid.

What level is a good level to make the switch from sword to rod?

As I said, hunt larvas or whatever you want with sword till level 30, since then start using rod.

My experience at Earth Elementals as a druid was horrible. I really believe Earth Elementals & Water Elementals are sorcerer's spot. There must be some place Druid have an advantage or at least equal to sorcerers are those low levels.

I remember Sorc's being over powered compared to Druid's, do you have anywhere you'd recommend for Druids?

On my driud, I 8-20ish Darashia Rotworms (larva is good aswell)
Then 20-40ish Yalahar Minotaur, pretty good since they are weak to ice (don't forget the task)
At about 40, I hunted Ancient Scarabs and Earth Elementals
Then I did Dragons till like 70-80. and I got to 100 at yala necromancers.

This is not the best way though. I am just saying what I did.

120-150 Water eles. if empty goes great. 150-190 Hydras for tasks.
190-225? Goroma ss and medusa for tasks or until 100 paw and fur.
225-250. Any PG script.
250-280?? 6666 demons task.

280+ hand level it or sell it.

2kk/hr beats 500-700 any day if the week.

sure! Delete your character and make a sorcerer...

No cause they still do good. :p

I know it is about a sword switch. But STICK with a sword until 50 from there
50-85 Hailstorm til 65 then Glacial Rod
85-120 Muck Rod
120-150 Underworld Rod or Sword again
150-190 Glacial Rod
190-225 Glacial Rod
225-250 (depends on monsters but Rod again)
250-280?? Glaical Rod
