Ill have ruffly 2000$us for a new one going for etusiast buikd aka way over the top lol now thats all for the tower itself no keyboard mouse or screen i was thinking some of you might like to theary craft with me on what to get
I know i dont have to spend that much but thats the budget i got and i fully intend to use it all :-)
Some probable stuff will be a cpu that can be clocked at 4.0ghz with as little strain as posible

If he's going to drop 2k on a rig, he might as well get the best bang-for-buck GPU.

Well.. He doesn't have to have a i7 for his computer :P He could go with a i5 or a AMD 8-core :P a AMD 8350 it's quite nice for a computer and would save around 150$ .. Well.
He could go what ever he want but a AMD is fine :P But If he likes the setup your put togheter then he can buy it :P No worries xD

I have a FX-8150 and an i7-4770k CPU.
There is a World of difference.

Still he doesen't have to spend cash on a i7 when he can easily be fine with a 8350 :P

If he's going to drop 2k on a rig, he might as well get the best of every possible critical component.
Cheap out on the cpu/gpu and it will be a lifetime of regret, or at least until he has enough for the next rig.

I've built many desktops over the years and I'm about to build another this winter. This video is an excellent guide/tutorial for anyone interested in building a desktop computer to get the "best bang for your buck." However, it is somewhat old now, and I'd personally make some changes to the components used in this build:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qMRvz_IYSgM
Changes I would make to the specifications provided in the video for better performance and upgradeability:
Intel 520 Series -> Samsung 840 EVO 250GB (Amazon.com (http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Electronics-EVO-Series-2-5-Inch-MZ-7TE250BW/dp/B00E3W1726/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1387221125&sr=8-1&keywords=samsung+840+evo+250gb))
GeForce GTX 780 -> GeForce GTX 780Ti (Amazon.com (http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-GeForce-Dual-Link-Graphics-03G-P4-2881-KR/dp/B00GDIIIPW/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1387221107&sr=8-2&keywords=geforce+gtx+780ti))
Seasonic G Series 550W -> Corsair Enthusiast Series 850W PSU (Amazon.com (http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Enthusiast-Series-Modular-TX850M/dp/B005E98EI2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1387221084&sr=8-1&keywords=850w+power+supply+modular))
You may exceed $2,000 with the changes I am recommending. However, they are worth it, IMO. I've told you what I would do, but now it's time for you to decide what you would like to do. I do not recommend going for any of the new R7/R9 series GPU's released by AMD because they reach mid to high 90's (Celsius) for "normal operating temperatures" which may decrease the overall life of the card itself.
EDIT: I may also suggest choosing a different case, such as the Corsair 750D, which is more suited for systems that demand better cooling solutions, especially if you decide to go with a GTX 780Ti. Also, consider liquid cooling for the CPU, but that's a luxury and isn't necessary. If you have any questions, please let me know. I'll do my best to answer them.
P.S. I'm planning to do a build very similar to this next month (or soon thereafter).
If you got Radeon you can do 3-6 screens with AMD-Infinty xD
NVIDIA GPU's support the same thing, except it has a different name. It's known as NVIDIA Surround or Eyefinity.

I recommend you get some of these SSD's. They are simply amazing... I've ordered the mSATA version of the 840 EVO as well. It should be here sometime this week.
