Well i don't know how this keys works. (i've never ordered one and was retired when they came out, but now i'm in need of one but i have some questions).

As far as i know it's a physical letter that arrives via mal (obviously hehe).
But what does it contain?
Once you have it what's next?
Once you order one you can continue ordering as much as you want?
I'm buying it with paypal, the facturation addres is the one that i have in paypal but i can edit the shipping addres to the one that i want to receive the letter, right? (no matter that are different countries?)
Any key works for any char/acc registered to that address? (this is one of the things that i less understand)
How long does it take to arrive? (if you've ordered one already, which country and how long did it take?

Thanks for your help guys!

If you want to get a new recovery key for your account you have to order it on tibia.com indeed. For each account that you need a new recovery key, you will have to order a confirmation key. this confirmation key will be only valid for a specific character/account that you purchased it for. Once you have ordered it and wait a while it will arrive to the address that the account is registered to, no matter what facturation address you enter. It's basically a letter that will contain the character name and a code (what we refer to on this forum as the confirmation key) and it looks like this:

I blurred out my address info. But anyways, the code (confirmation key) is below the ball pen and it only works for the character that is mentioned in the letter. The steps you need to take are on the letter, but are pretty obvious. How long it takes to get one depends on which country you are from, for me it usually takes two business days, but for people from for example brazil it may take way longer. The confirmation key is only usable once and it will generate a new recovery key, replacing the old recovery key. The recovery key can be used as many times as you want. Also you can order as many confirmation keys as you want.

Yes, once you generate a new recovery key by using the confirmation key the old one will not work anymore and will be useless.
