I'm a big fan of this cryptocurrency called Dogecoin, it started out in december of 2013 and since then its community has grown to half the size of bitcoins. If you'd like some more information of cryptocurrencies :http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cryptocurrency

Dogecoins reddit: http://www.reddit.com/r/dogecoin

Dogecoin has from the beginning been a very noob-friendly and very nice community overall, for exampel we sent the jamaican bobsled team to the winter olympics.

The way you store your 'coins' is in a wallet on your computer, if you were to reinstall your computer of windows or replace an important component of your PC without a backup your coins would be lost.

It would be a nice way to pay for xenobot/scripts because there's no chargebacks, the price can also vary from day to day which could be both bad and good. The good reason is if Darkstar would lets say put the price of xenobot at 4500 Dogecoin wich is at the moment worth around 6USD. Then after a day or two the price would increase and that 4500 doge may be worth 7USD instead, unfortunately works the other way around aswell.

Some of the great things about cryptocurrencies are:

There's NO chargebacks!
Your account cannot be frozen.
There's no fees in transferring coins from one account to another.
It's fun! :D

Some of the bad things about cryptocurrencies are:

The value of the currency WILL vary, either from low to higher or from high to lower.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Me personally would love this option to be able to buy services/gold/characters/scripts and xenobot with cryptocurrencies, my option of currency would be dogecoins.

The maximum I've ever hold is 41000 which I sold for 80USD THEN, the price is not that high right now.
I'm holding around 10k coins as of right now and I'm getting around 4000-5000 each day.

How are you getting so many a day? Do you just buy 4000 to 5000 thousand a day or what?

I doubt DarkstaR would feel this is an alternative way, as this would be pure risk-investment for his part.

Good idea with another payment method and so on, but I believe it could have an alternative outcome, DarkstaR could earn less money, and bot would be affected negatively.

'alternate' crypto's are havens for pump and dump schemes

HonkaPonka NeeP You "mine" it with you GPU, your gpu solves really hard mathematical problems and when it's solved you get rewarded with a X amount of coins. It takes alot out of the gpu to mine, mine is almost always at 100% load when mining.
Stusse I guess he could/would with alternative currencies, but with bitcoin the price is almost at the same all the time. I believe that this would open up more opportunities like 90days xenobot or something because there's no chargebacks etc. There's alot of "reallife" stores and grocery stores all over the world that accepts bitcoin and other currencies.
sausting Yes they are but you could always exchange them at bter or cryptsy to btc. :p

edit: this explains mining dogecoin quite well: http://i.imgur.com/wp0UDqp.gif

Depends what your definition of nice money is, since I'm a student at 16y/old this is more than enough for me. I make around 9USD a day with this. Yes ASIC miners, but you can't mine Scrypt based currencies with them, YET.

not a 290x, just 290 :p and yes 9usd a day, wich sums up top 63 usd a week and 250 a month, depends on luck aswell, If the price goes down or up. If the price doubles in a week then I'll make 18 USD a day. Or I could also save it until the price is really high and then sell.
