View Full Version : Targeting
Hello, its simple
Add the option "only if trapped" to targeting, that would make the running to hunt places easier
Would be also nice to add "Only loot items from list"

As a mage I'd love a "target things within range X without moving at all" option. The #1 thing I die from with this script is the bot choosing the FURTHEST AWAY target and then following it and running right into more mobs. Using the 4sqm distance also makes me run into more mobs if its a melee monster, and sometimes the bot stops firing if its in close quaters and set to 3 or 4sqm. Just having it target WITHOUT moving would be so much better.
Also as an alternative a SetTarget(Creature) for scripting would do the trick nicely.

Use the proximity to adjust your targetting, I saw a very nice guide of the proximity somewhere around the forums, u should check it out! Might answer some of ur Q's

Im sure that would help if I did find that guide :p
Regarding proximity.. regardless of which of the current options chosen the bot will either run towards creatures, or run away from them. There is no "stand your ground" option. Waiting until melee creatures are within proximity 1 would certainly make me stop if I had it to "follow", but it would make me run much further than necessary and probably drag more creatures.
