I know keys can be remapped in windows, but I'm not the only one who uses the computer I play Tibia on.

Given the choice, I'd like to be able to map my hotkey functions to the number pad, since I mouse with my right hand and use the keys with my left. Spells and potions on the number pad would mean a shorter distance between finger and key than moving my left hand from the arrow keys over to the fkeys. Plus, f1-12 are so stretched out it it's easier to make a mistake. Star Wars Galaxies had the option and it was eminently playable - especially putting panic spells on the larger easier to hit 0, enter, and + keys. The current f keys could be mapped to the often requested swap weapons/equipment functions.

You don't use the number pad to move diagonally?

Nope. And I just read that thread - I don't see where diagonal number pad movement is covered, and I just played with all my keys in various ways and didn't diagonal anywhere? I'm generally not a moron so I don't know what I'm overlooking.

K, just got movement on number pad. Doesn't float my boat - I still need my right hand on the mouse and using number pad would mean an even longer trip for my left hand to the function keys.

Regardless, the thread I linked shows that some keys are bound to certain hotkeys via Xenobot. You can use those...

Ok, so how about a function to remap the entire keyboard while xeno runs, like you can with just about any game.

How's that working out for you? Tibia's defaults are fucking shit, but like I said, I can't remap my keyboard for one user and one part-time function, which is why I'd prefer to have the option built into xenobot so it's only while it's running.

I don't really want to be installing and running and writing scripts for a multitude of software, I DO have other things to do with my time. I'm not insuling any of you, but I've got a job, a wife, kids, and other interests. Writing scripts isn't really one of my interests. Part of the raison d' etre of an application like xenobot is all in one solutions. If it can be done in the one environment it's needed for, why would I want to do it in two and have to learn to write a seperate script for the second application.

When I take my car to the mechanic, I don't want him telling me to take it next door to get the brakes done and then to the place across the street to get the oil changed. I want to drop it off, and have the breaks, oil, and exhaust done all at once, pay one bill, and who to go to the next time it needs work.
