Has anyone taken magic level 100 by buying pots? If so, what spell did you use and how much did it cost from let's say magic level 80?

True, personally I'd probably use mana potions to make sd's/magic walls/paralyze runes untill I run out of soul points -> hunt for soul points -> make runes etc. etc.

Ofcourse it would take way longer. But by making runes you could, for example make 134.000 paralyze runes. If you sell them for lets say 600 gp each you earn 80kk of the 92kk back by selling the runes. If money is not an issue I would rather have two mages + my main spamming mana potions on my main and spam utana vid+exura vita.

That works aswell, but I doubt you'd even get 600 ea for those paralyzes.

I'd like to point out that the figure is a LOT closer to 93kk than 92kk. :P

If you're aiming to get to 100 magic as fast as possible, yeah, you wouldn't want to make runes. But if you're not, making runes is a great idea for many reasons. 1) You could sell the runes to recoup some of your 93kk loss. 2) You could send them to another character to level with. 3) You could stockpile them, and use them to level with that character once you reach magic level 100.

Wouldn't you be better off just running a hunting script that spams pots if less than 80 percent mana + make rune if more than "x" soul points? Constantly spamming Utani gran hur also? Wouldn't say in spawns long but would be best way to have soul pts. It don't take long to blast through soul pts sitting in a house.

Not with my Luaskills, hehe.. Go to some hunting spot if below xxx soul, then you need to refill manas, maybe? And then, you could die in respawn.. Cuz' if you're going like swamp trolls at lvl 80, it'd be pretty obvious.. And shit loads of waste, since you've already gotten ML 80.

You can either gain soul by being logged out, or killing creatures and gaining experience from them higher than your level. The experience you gain has to be higher than your level.

I would love to see a full 100%afk script that went to bank, grabbed money, went and got as many pots as he could carry and just used them until empty in a "secure" location. And then repeat. If you had some money in the bank, this would be a decent thing to have. I am going to try it tonight, and i'll post with my results. Starting ML is 55.

And I've never seen any go from 80-100 without any kind of voucher and/or 2x week. So usually we're talking about half the cost.
