Level Requirements

Hello all,

Well I've played Tibia for a long period of time, but I just never fully understood the system behind level requirements regarding items; I have a few questions that I came up with:

1. What happens damage-wise when I wield a weapon under the certain requirement?
2. What happens with the attributes of an item (Atk +3, ML +2, Range +1, Def 20+3, etc.) when it's wielded under the level requisite?

I don't know, but I can give a small guess. Say if the level requirement is level 30 and you are using the sword with level 20 it would do 20/30 * 100 = 66,7% of the total damage. If you use this sword with level 30, it would be 30/30 * 100 = 100% of the total damage. It is worth using a weapon that you are the correct level to use no matter what, you will do more damage and hit more often even
