Help with tasks

I used to play 7 years ago, now that i came back i have trouble understanding about tAsks. Could someone please tell me whats te point of doing them? And why are they sor important? Thank you guys and if someone plays in solera send me a message since i dont know anyone there and would love to make some friends.

Hum tasks are good for the easy cash on low levels, possibility to get items like dragon claw, soul stone, nose ring. Also for acces to demon oak quest
