Why is Xenobot one of the least popular bots?

Why? I've thought this to myself plenty of times.

It's performance, no keyboard overtaken, easy to use etc.

It's shocking how people are going to other bots because they are "like neobot".

What's your reasons for staying at Xenobot? Or if you've left to another, whats your reasons for leaving?

Xeno it´s the best bot out there, but need a little of programming knowledge to make it work, but people is to dumb or to lazy to try to make it work.

i stay on xenobot cuz: of the low cpu and ram use so i can bot a lot of clients even on my shiti pc.
the gr8 comuniti where u can get good low lvl and mid lvl scripts for free and dont have to waste money on a skript that u will use just one month or so.
cuz of the gr8 programing, i used a lot of free and payd scripts on other bots and on xenobot, if a programer knows what he do, a xenobot scirpts runs much smoother and faster then the a script on a other bot i tested so far.
and idk if it posible on xeno, i dont think it is. the bot never droped a ring/boots/ammo on the flor what was one of the problems by ibot for me. (when i have a frame or lagg i was giving free items)

DarkstaR also doesn't do any advertising or marketing outside of this forum, at least none that I've seen. So, it's just word of mouth and loyal users at this point. Not much room for growth with loyalty. It's only good for sustainability. There's nothing wrong with that, though. If he's happy with it, that's perfectly fine, in my opinion.

Tested every bot from BlackD back in 2005 - NG - Elfbot - Neobot - Xenobot. Everyone talks about neobot like it was the god of bots, really ? Xeno is a much better programmed bot. That's why I choose it :)

If you want my opinion: after sitting a month using it, and knowing the potential of other bots, you will leave. XenoBot didn't give me any attractive to stay and it works slower than WindBot, for example, a Tibia client with XenoBot injected consumes more CPU/RAM than Tibia + WindBot for me, that's why I didn't stick around for too long after using. XenoBot is a great bot once you get used to it but it's pretty "limited" (means if you don't know how to create your own stuff you're screwed + lack of creativity on adding new functions/variables [ability to change parts of bot without having to load a completely new .xbst is the biggest point here]), add that to the wrong thought that most people have (injection = deletion, which isn't true in any way), people tend to stay away.

CPU its more important than RAM, with 4gb ram its enough to have like 20+ clients. Do you really know who computers works O_O?

for me its more than enough with 3gb ram and cpu of 2.6ghz to have like 7 clients and play LoL.

To be honest, I was a die-hard user of TibiaBot NG, and subsequently Elfbot. Then, I bought Neobot one time, but fuck that community -- bunch of fucking cock smackers. EKX is pretty much the same, but I do give him a le tip of the fedora for Elfbot.

I think the reason I like Xenobot so much is that it seems to function just like Elfbot, but with a GUI similar to TibiaBot NG. Also, this community is pretty smart and helpful, and I'd rather have these current members than ten-thousand assholes ruining the community.

And I remember Darkstar starting Tibia Underground, right? [Editors note: No, it was Hux and Caid, and eventually me as a senior developer. Darkstar's first bot, DarkBot, evolved into TUGBot when he was given hosting rights by Hux. You can ask Nick how he feels about that relationship.] I also remember him from TPforums/T-Programming, and some of my old buddies like cyber_demon11, Morag, Tristan, LordOfWar before he became a whore for cash... good times.

you can use windaddons with xenobot. the most importal thing is then xenobot not simulates your keyboard and mouse (i hate that thing) for me xenobot is the best, but still need more features. When i was botting 75mc+ i was have used 13gb of ram and 60% of my i7 4930k all mc was on 15fps, with windaddons 75mc was taking like 10% (i was using windaddons with xb)

The next release of XenoBot it shouldn't go over 60-80k RAM. Leaks have been fixed. I'll implement native CPU saver soon as well.

Well I'm mostly a lurker on all forums (I don't like attracting attention to myself much) and I've been around since NG and Elfbot as well, through Neobot too. I can tell you this based on my experience: all of the other bots had a MUCH larger community (though most of them were load-noobs, those who lurk, download, inject and load up a dumb script). So yeah, I agree with the people here who say that Xeno needs more of an effort to get it along and working compared to the other bots. FOR NOW (wait till the new project's released).

Now, in every other aspect, Xeno pwns the fuck out of other bots. As other posters said above me: Injection > Simulation. Pretty fucking obvious to me: Typability, ability to use PC on other things, and most importantly, YOU DON'T LOSE SOFT BOOTS! :)

The other 2 bots of importance, WindBot and iBot are popular because of the teams behind them from Neo: BugWT, Lucas Terra, Raphael, etc... They gathered quite a good reputation for themselves on Neo forums, and so many people and fanboys are now in their pockets (their scripts were incredibly simple to use and program too, add that to the bucket of tricks.)

TL;DR People like: a) to lose their soft boots, b) a no-hassle/no-effort needed bot, c) fr33 scr1pt5 pl0xx!111!one

Depends how hard it'll be to make new crack. Some people will rather spend those 6$ than wait few weeks for crack or move to other bot especially if they've already got a lot of scripts for Xeno. Can't really except new people since Apophis doesn't really bring anything that will make it easier to use (except tutorial maybe but it'll still require to buy the bot first since trial is quite worthless). If we really want new people here DarkstaR should consider getting resellers so people can have easier time paying for Xeno since not everyone can use PayPal.
