its that new Apophis version right??? i was use neomc and windaddons since then you can run on windaddons like 200+ mc ;p beacose that have option to save cpu by change limit of fps.
for me you should try reinstal drivers from card, instal framework 4.0, 4.5, download new direct and microsoft visual C++

You take a look? Have you tried any my suggestion or Rydan suggestion ? check and after tell if there is still problem.

If you haven't solved it yet then try this: Go to Nvidia Control Panel ---> 3D Settings ---> Let the 3D Application Decide. If that doesn't work then try 'Use my preference emphasising' and set it to Balanced or Performance.

I did change some settnings in the panel and I managed to solve it.
