grizzly adams help

sooo, weird thing. im trying to sell loot to grizzly adams on my knight. but when I say trade it doesn't work. but if I switch chars and try to sell it on my sorc it works. im apart of the hunters association thing from him so that's not it. anyone else think of anything?

to just be able to trade with him? I thought you just had to be with him to trade but to trade some items you have to have a certain amount?
