Personally i love to bot, but i dont want to afk bot, i only have about 2-3 hours a day to put into tibia myself. So im asking as a mage level 85, could i manual the two hours faster than my bot could level me? depends on the places i go ofcourse. Dont know if anyone else has brought this one up before.

All depends if you have cash... On your level I'd go to Frost dragons on okolnir as a mage with SD's, you'll have waste but you'll also level up quickly.

If you're not as rich to waste such amounts, you could just go to goroma bonebeast island and kill everything there including the lich hell with avalanche, this will give pretty good XP with a bit of waste.

Manual is way better xp than botting, atleast for me.

manual> botting, simply because you bot where you know you have a very low probability of dying, where as manual you test the limits of your char and if you're like me, you like to go for the high risk hi rewards hunts, + you actually learn how to play.

Could always get more XP/h whilst manualling but never get as much profit. Mainly due to me getting bored / frustrated after 4/5 hours of manual hunting and not getting any luck.

Manual leveling will always be better than botting, if you're a good player. However, there is an exception to this if you're a good coder/programmer.

For it to be Botting > Manualling you'd need one hell of a script, or just be uber-super-terrible at this game. Which would be quite incredible in itself as it's not very hard to maximize exp/h in Tibia :p

I know people who are skilled at coding who can make scripts that get better exp/h than manual hunting because it's more consistent.

It all depends on your level of skill at both manual hunting and coding. But a computer does what it's told and never messes up (if programmed to properly).

Manual will always be better atleast in my opinion.
