Elvang's response is the only logical answer, there is no option to disable it in XenoSuite.

Although, XenoSuite being 5.6mb is quite small. Is there any reason why you wouldn't want it to update automatically? I can see turning off things like 680mb Windows updates and such but 5mb is nearly nothing, I just don't see the harm in it is all.

No, its just like "hack phobia", i have to always check internet activity, process list, otl, combofix, hijackthis logs etc etc.., just hate "auto updating" in some aplications.. but there is always in options "DISABLE AUTO UPDATE", and XB ofcourse dont have it..


anyway im using SANBOXIE for tibia hotkeys for my MSes and it sometimes fucked up!, sometime saying "Xenobot is auto updating"... its kinda problem bcuz it can checking forever.. till i dont restart my all tibias from NON-Sandboxie..

All XenoBot binaries are signed with a valid code signing certificate, and XenoSuite makes sure that this certificate is valid. Unless my home PC, XenoBot webserver, bitbucket account, and email get hacked, there's no mathematically feasible way for anybody but me to create malicious auto-updates (it's more likely that someone would be able to hack the site and serve malicious manual downloads). This means that your hack-phobia is unfounded in this case unless you have an inherent distrust for my software, which would mean you probably shouldn't be using it.
