Greetings,
Welcome to the very first XenoBot Ferumbras Hat lottery! I've been wanting to do this for a long time, and have finally managed to get my hands on a hat to get the lottery started. If it goes well, you guys can look forward to similar lotteries in the future.


Lottery Setup:

The lottery will have 200 tickets (give or take 5 as the process of handing out tickets will not be fully automated, and I'll have to do some by-hand counting).
The ticket numbers are assigned chronologically. There will be no choosing of tickets, as I'll automatically pull transactions from the database and order them by date.
Tickets will be $12.00 each. This makes sure that I'm able to pay all of the taxes and fees on the cash and still have enough to sponsor the lottery.
There will be one ticket per account. If you want to buy more tickets, you must make more accounts.
The draw will be done live on stream. I'll write a program to do the draw and do it live on stream.
Tickets will stop selling on Friday, August 8th. Or whenever 200 have been sold.
The drawing will happen soon after all tickets are sold.
No XenoBot staff is allowed to enter.

I agree 100%, these prices are not even close to $2200. Feru hat is 1500-1600 tops, 55kk is easily bought for 330~ and I doubt the xenobot licenses makes up for the missing $270.

In my opinion a lottery shouldn't be held for you to profit, it should be to give back to the community. I will therefor not be purchasing a ticket at a whopping $12 when the rewards are worth $1900 total spread amongst 200 tickets.

I can write off the PayPal purchases for gold as 'assets' because they have legit receipts and allow disputes etc. I'm not sure all of the details, but my CPA says writing off things like WU can trigger audits and shit.

Caveats:

If all tickets are not sold, some cash prizes may be removed in order to mitigate my losses. Ferumbras' hat will NOT be removed, and I will take a loss if we cannot sell all tickets.
If less than 150 tickets are sold, I'll push the deadline back by up to 1 week to try and mitigate my losses.
If less than 100 tickets are sold, I'll refund all of the money and cancel the lottery.

Actually you can:) Just transfer the hat to Calva, make from 0 lvl 8 on calva and transfer this 8 lvl from calva to inferna/dolera:)
