What happened to magefarms for runefarming near water?

Back in the days there was plenty of mages AFK making runes near every river. Now i dont even see a script for fishing that works.

What happened? It all died with soul? I'd imagine since every cave is filled with botters having a few mages near some waters is free and steady uninterrupted money? Or have CIP inplemented a good detection against it so making 2-4 is waste of time?

I also liked the "magebomb" or w/e it was called where i had 5+ mages with high ml outside dp's and SD'd the shit out of high levels :D No such thing here i guess? Was a feature in Tibiabot NG

It's shit money and soul points are a hassle you may as well just have a knight and have the income scale up eventually

Magebomb is when u logged in with alot of chars to kill sombody, But since u cant attack for the first somting seconds u cant attack anything.

Have an army of lower lvl mages that have a set of waypoints that include a food source, low risk target with enough exp to raise soul over time in an unknown area. I had a low lvl Mage that I'd hunt bears and wolves with north of carlin and drop in for a few valks in the waypoints hunting with a firesword. After a few days you got a few hundred gfbs or sds a pile of bear paws and some gems. Just keep a lot of cap to hold the runes and don't loot anything heavy.
