View Full Version : New computer on a budget
Hey,
So I've never built my own computer but I'm interested in starting a build. I only want to spend around 500$ or less. Does anyone have any tips or ideas?
It will be used for Tibia mainly, maybe a few other games.

This will give you an idea of what parts you will be able to get for your price range: AMD six-core system configuration (http://www.cyberpowerpc.com/system/AMD_Six_Core_Configurator).
I recommend looking on YouTube for build tutorials. There are several good ones. The entire process is not that difficult. However, it will require some patience.

AMD FX-6300 Vishera was the CPU I was going to suggest. Its a nice middle of the line CPU for a good price. If you go with intel you have 180 4 core CPUs. AMD 4 core approx. equals intel 2 core: AMD 8 core approx. equals intel 4 core.

I actually ordered a MSI R9 280X a few days ago along with a new chassi, a new CPU cooling fan and 2 new 27" monitors. I'm happy! :D
