Actually, many games are based on this kind of stuff. I'm more like "whatever" on this since it's not supplies or some equipment.

It is not a bad idea for a company since it's purely cosmetic, like they say.

IMO all outfits should be considered just that, purely cosmetic. Using some rare item is fine as well but I don't see the purpose of paying for an expensive item.

Addons/outfits prices are based mostly in loot rate I think, still I see it's pointless to pay (looting is another thing) let's say 200kk for a simple item.

I could do lots more with that cash, like paying bills IRL, having some extra cash to buy something I want, etc. If you told me I can get an outfit even for my FACC just by botting then I'm just fine with it. On the other hand, If you told me I gotta give 200kk (cash or money in game) for a Ferumbras' hat I would lol and walk away.

Though I gotta admit that wand, stick or whatever it is looks kinda ugly. They could have put some effort on it like they did with the addons

As someone else might've said, the true value of outfits still remains as it's the quests/cost of it that's the "impressive".

Getting this fucking outfit doesnt mean shit, other than you've paid 20 euros for it. Having the ferumbras hat prooves you've either slayed Ferumbras and got his hat, or that you've bought it for a substancial higher cost.

If they'd introduce an outfit costing 500 euros, it would be of course be more "rated".

as Chuitox said, Pay 2 be pretty is a sucessfull way of profiting from a otherwise "free" game.

Tibia follows an old way of profiting, aka 'membership', shared by his old friend Runescape. maybe in the future everything will be free, we never know.

I have a job, when I get paid I pay my bills and everything ect ect... Then save the rest I have, or in some cases treat myself. I enjoy playing Tibia, so why not just grab an outfit to help enjoy it more? I don't bot my main account, so what my character looks like matters to me a bit.

Why not indulge once?
