Hey everyone, I thought it would be cool to have some sort of small random drawing to get some input from the community.

With this being said, I will be giving away 30 days premium time to a lucky winner on September 16th, 2014. At 7:00 p.m. I will announce the winner!

How do you enter the contest? It's simple, just tell me one thing, when did you discover "botting" in Tibia, and decided to give it a try? did it fail? irritate you? If you can tell me something in a small paragraph then you'll be entered into the random drawing for a chance to win 30 days premium time

So when did I discover botting? Well, my first "cheating" experience was back in Nova... I saw someone fishing insanely fast, and learned of Tibia GG. That was pretty neat... hundreds of fish in mere minutes! I was a god... or was until I got banned. 7 days though... worth it. From there, I had gotten in the habit of mana sitting and training. I kept tabs on new cheats to make life a little easier. Tibia Candy was neat, as it offered a "rainbow outfit". Running through the streets of Thais with my outfit rapidly changing colors... it was glorious! Or was, til I was banned... again. Then it was on to TibiaSuite. Spear pickup for the win... or so I thought. Turns out it had a backdoor... :sadface:. From there, was right around the time Lord of War was becoming known. I risked trying out his bot... /waypoint in the chat channel? Winning! And I stuck with it through NG, Ghost~, EKX splitting off to do his bots (forget the first one, but Neo~ followed) and now here I am. I never really went all out, so never got tons of levels, nor tons of gold... but my very first Tibia account has survived various bans, GM encounters, and player interference til this day.

I discovered botting back in 2007, my rl friend had an ingame friend who botted, I saw him online everytime and he never answered my pms :(, then he told me via Messenger he was always afk (botting) deeper DC, I was exited about that, downloaded Tibia NG crack I think and started using full outfits feature thinking people could see me with Full Assassin outfit hah.

The first time was when I was like 10 years old or maybe even younger than that.. anyways.
My friend had gotten the NGbot and was bragging to everyone about it, so he was a god to everyone of us, all of us wanted him to bot our characters because he wouldn't share it to anyone.
After a while I figured out how to get it and started botting myself, it was always thais rotworms/trolls because that was a good spawn with no scripts included, only waypoints.
Before you knew it I was banned for the first time but I just continued making new characters one after one because botting was so amazing in my eyes.

First time I actually started 'botting' was probably about 10 years ago. I don't know if there were actually any good bots around back then except for the fish hack I was using. I remember going to the east of Venore depot and I'd fish all the sqs in the water at once. Man I felt like the boss o' that town! Not much later I used some kind of mouserecorder. I was still a young kid and the idea was ridiculous but somehow it did the job. It fished, made runes and ate food.
I must've been 13 years old but I was rich as fuark. Made backpacks SDs when I was in school. Gooood times.

Up until now that char has almost 90 fishing as level 350+ mage. So it's practicly yelling 'Hey I'm a big fat botter!' It used to be 95 (on a level 17 character), but I've died too many times.
A few years later I started with TibiaNG, and later Elfbot for war purposes. When war was still fun. And then all the other bots. Ended up with Xenobot just because of the great community we have.

Then i got familiar with XB which was even better, so.. Thats pretty much what its about me xD

I remember all the old bots but nothing beats the time when Magebot (wasn't really named anything back then) was during beta testing and everyone was at mass war on all servers. BlackD was pretty much the first cavebot I used though, damn we were so noob back then, the top level on Morgana was like 120ish, I was around 80ish and everyone either botted northern port hope, scarabs, apes or lizards. We used to think it was so awesome getting 40k exp/hour on a level 80 collecting crocodile boots for our 'epic' house deco.

EDIT: Bots are the only reason why I even still have an account on Tibia. Without them, I would've lost interest with Tibia such a long time ago. Bots along give you a reason to continue, the level advancements are nice and all but its truly about the automation that keeps me interested. Its nice to see how far the bots have progressed over the years, just a few years ago people couldn't even imagine smart rune shooters or waves/beams with a bot, lol.

I discovered botting before NG, but never used it until NG. I started using NG for rune making and fishing overnight. Loved to farm runes! Those days were fun. It felt pretty weird at first but it was awesome at the same time. I had never thought a program would play a game for me, lol. :D Eventually, every time I played Tibia I had a bot running, whether it be for light, healing, or cave-botting. Oh, and over the past 10+ years I've been playing Tibia, I have never been banished or hacked. So, I guess I'm lucky in that regard.

Initially the first time I cheated on this game was pre-Antica. But back then everyone used macro's to afk train a pally and pick up spears.

Used Neo a tad but just blew through pots with horribly set spam rates. by the time I got a hang of it. EKX shut er down.

Stumbled upon Xeno.. downloaded rat script and was pumped the character actually moved.. i never made way points before and throught id give it a try.

I made 2 wpts in thais depot. and was PUMPED when the char moved. I figured hell lets see what kinda bad ass stuf i can do..

Ran up to wolves/bears north of thais. made 1 wpt in wolves, 1 wpt in bears. added bear paw and wolf paw to settings. put a exura ico healer on there. added bears wolves and snakes on targeting. ran that damn thing for a week straight. holy hell 50 bear paws at 3.5k a pop on a lvl 12. Looting a dragon shield used to be cool hunting dragons. but i new manually hunting was a waste of time in this game now. Now its strength in numbers.. can i find another spawn to put a soldier.. do i really want to make another BS hotmail account to make more makers, just to have a noob running another spawn? When will it end? Never.

The first time i came in contact whit botting in Tibia was when i was around... eight or nine years old, back in 2002. The first time i used a bot myself in Tibia was when i bought a month of xenobot when i made this account, did not play tibia often befor.

Tho botting has/do happend often, i can say for certain 80% of the high level player base has used a bot, its nothing new that bots are used in a game were it takes ages to level up after lvl 150 - 200, + hand grinding efficient close to a script will never happend, the bad side of botting was/is when a spawn is so crowded that u cant even touch a monster befor its dead, tho whit stamina cipsoft did make it more easy for those few hand grinders to play the game, tho what i hate most are kids sitting on tibia yelling *BOT BOT BOT GTFO F**** REPORT* etc, still when u sit at the computer watching the bot... even replaying... not our mistake that the kids are to poor/dumb to get a working bot themself, not like its hard.

The only irritating side whit botting in tibia is that when u use a script at a certain level and some lower levels / real low decides to use the same spot.... and when they start to report you to get you banned... i mean realy, not like its only me that breaks the rules ^^ we all do, but i guess we all can agree on that Tibia is fun when u are high level.

Had been playing maybe a year or two without succesfully leveling above 20. Note this was inferna old days.

Came above 40, started botting barbs making lootbags on my first EK.

When it reached 60 i stared an MS, which later I found myself in war and stuff.

Highest level was 140 maybe I was 60-70, pretty fun back then.

My botting career started back in 2010/11 when TUGbot was released, I've heard people saying that the bot is much safer than Elfbot, NGbot and all the other mainstream bots back then. There were not many scripts for that bot so I ofcourse had to make my own, I've spent a few hours making a simple DC script that would just go around the place, kill everything and take the gold. After a few weeks of using the bot I've gotten to level 58 and had just bought new gear for my epic knight buuuuut, the next day my account got banned for spamming on Tibia forums (what the hell). Well atleast they didn't catch me botting! :)

The first time I discovered botting was via my brother. A friend gave him a trial version for 3 days and my brother's pc was running for almost 3 entire days
making UH runes and killing rotworms with a serpent sword. He sold the backpacks for like 3k each and back in the days that was a huge amount of monney, haha.
I was so jalous about it, but didn't dare to use the same bot. I was afraid of getting hacked or banned or so..
It toke years for me to finally get the courage and try using Tibiaauto. Everytime I logged in, I used on-screen-keyboard for my password (haha, I was so afraid of hackers :P). I never used it very much, because I was more into pking than cavebotting. I think I really started to use bot regularly since this month. Serieusly, I think I'm playing tibia for like 12 years now and always missed the huge benefits of botting because of my fear of hackers and bannishment.

I have been playing for about 8 years now, I saw the rise and fall of tibia and all kinds of bots on tibia and on OT's.
The first thing I tried was tasker, which is as some will know a mouse recorder macro. Fishing all the time and on OT's combo it with candy. Being godlike on these servers it was. On real tibia I didn't use it alot.
Now in the new days I have been hosting a few servers, banning botters manual and that way I found out which bots are around to stop them.
After my 10 day trial I was hooked, made a few accounts and enjoy tibia a new way.
But there is one thing in my mind I have always been wondering: There where OT's where botting is legal, so the one with the best bot will win. This rocks, people afk botting and others trying to kill them. The worlds are separated by a 50/50 war.
But the question is: What if tibia made a legal to bot world? Where you don't have to worry about being deleted? Imagine what kind of cool scripts will be made to stop pkers, or use it to do just that?
I understand that tibia won't ever do that, because bots will grow even bigger and become more populair also on non botting servers..
What if, thats alsways the question isn't it?

I discovered first the old tibia gg tool, then the bots came in. Used BlackD tools to bot, worked for some amount of time, then the measures CIP took against them got my oldest account deleted. Then I switched to xenobot and tried for some lvls with my pally and knight.

as i started advancing through the levels (now tibia 7.6) i thought it was weird how perfect some people could shoot sds without poofing so often and uh themsevles so accurately while doing other things... i just thought they were cheating and i didnt actually know what botting was so i didnt know i has discovered bots then ( i was very young).

Some years passed of me switching from ots to rl then back to ots and stayed on ots for many, many years which is where i realised bots for the first time.... then i came back to tibia one day to find that a mere 100 or 200 people were playing my world and that every spawn i visited was being botted - this saddened me that only the bots were left and this is when i realised it was time for me to start botting because back in my day if someone pked me i would pg the fuck out of tibia (NO STAMINA) with energy drinks and lan parties and sleepovers with my cousins and friends and we would pg for 2-3 days straight without logging out then go find the fucker and stomp him <---- this is what made tibia the best game ever but now after returning many years later i found that if someone killed me and i killed them back then a lvl 200 or 300 or 400 or several lvl 100s or several lvl 200s would come and buttfuck me and i soon realised that the game is so full of botters and is so old now that there is no point whatsoever in playing manually since the spawn is mostly taken by a/several bot(s) reducing your exp so much that you need to be there 10x longer and that pging for a day just to get pked by botters at the end is a real life waster.... why waste your life exping just to have it taken away? Now when i die i dont give a fuck because i just re-bless, re-stock, re-load(xenobot) and im done.

well my history is very simple , i start botting because i always want to be better than my friends , was like a personal competition , but the most interesting thing that make me bot was GOLD , i dont know why i never care too much about level , but having more gold was like : ohhhh yes plsssssss , gold make me bot that its . when i start to bot?? well that was 7-8 years ago, i used to train on a hidde cave of rotworms at north of thais, everything was fine, until the guys that dominated the server start to kill me when i reach 70´s skills (in those times that was like 100+ from the skills of now i guess)
soo after of the automatic hunted i decided to leave that server and moved on on a non pvp wich i found very good to bot and for make a lot of test about reports/deleteds nowadayys-
