View Full Version : What's next from CipSoft?
Now we have complete outfits, mounts, world transfers and express world transfers. So what could possibly come next from CipSoft?
After exploring Dawnport for a little while I think I have figured out the next big money maker for CipSoft. Has anyone ever wanted to swap vocations without trading characters or starting over with a new character? Well noticing how CipSoft has allowed the changing of character vocations on Dawnport, I think they will use that formula to change vocations of characters and allow you to buy character vocation change.
I do not know this for a fact, as noone knows what they have planned, so give feedback. Do you like this idea? Would you be willing to swap your characters? And lastly if you would be willing to swap what would you pay to do it?
Thanks!

If this ever happened, I would hope they would charge a decent amount to do it and not something like $60
When they are desperate enough they will sell "Stamina Potions" xD

I highly doubt they'd do something like that. You think skill transfer, how would you change a mage with ml 100 to a ek? 100-100? Where ml 100 = far far far longer than 100 melee.
The idea has a few to many holes in it to be considered. But I do think they'll release a few more buyable things from the account page. My thoughts for ideas would be;
1) Stamina regaining thing, one time use in game like a premium scroll. Recovers your stamina to 39:59 from whatever you were at. But has a use limit, example 1-3 per month, per character.
2) More buyable outfits or mounts. Possible the 3rd addon for outfits.

Special "Blind-eye" treatment.
Pay 15-30 USD a month to bot with no worries of deletion.
Pay in advance one year and receive a "complementary" 1 month voucher. <<<<<< My kind of deal ;]

I was just thinking the same thing. The only vocation that would even be remotely capable of doing so would be ED to MS or vice-versa.

The same way they do offline training formulas. 12 hours of offline training for sword as a knight is worth 12 hours of offline training for magic as a mage.

Vocation change, stamina refill, character rebirth, etc. all seem plausible.
Honestly, I think they should start combining more of the older worlds, and start opening new worlds (blocked from transfers). Eventually Tibia will basically "rebirth" itself. Obviously, this would need to take place over a long period of time to smooth the transition. But I think it could revive Tibia.

Vocation change i dont see plasuible at all. The next "logical" step to become a real pay to win game is voucher for rl money. Or faster skills/ml for rl money in forms of scrolls

Custom houses, private spawns, etc. Go full-blown OT. :D
Like many other games I think they will start with double exp scrolls, or double skill scrolls and such, but that would upset alot of voucher accounts I guess..

double exp and so on would make Tibia a pay to win game. I doubt they are heading that way.
However, skill change seems plausable. Aka change mace > axe etc and maybe they can allow ed > ms etc but I doubt it.
I think they are gonna milk the outfit, mount for a while and maybe start with glow items (such as Frozen starlight but something else that makes your char unique in a way)

instance gaming for partying i see as a possibility cheaper blessings/buyable blessings the implementation of an add on system to customize your game play the implantation of vac while joining steam
these are the biggest possible changes i think are possible

I can see them selling blessings or an item that gives you blessings when worn. Maybe even outfits that make you gain a skill (+1) or something.

Selling vouchers for sure! Tibia is, and has been, on it's way down and they aren't gonna be able to revive it. They will start milking it by adding as much buy-able options such as mounts, outfits, but soon items and vouchers etc. Think about the ability to sell pacc scrolls in-game, they have adjusted to rules like 3 times already, they also started advertising on their own website you should buy pacc scrolls and sell them in-game for money...
Just mark my words, they are gonna do anything to keep milking this cash cow until it's dead, and that includes letting botters go wild.
