You realize that Xenobot is NOT COMPATIBLE with Linux, right?
If so;
1) Download the latest Ubuntu ISO from http://www.ubuntu.com/download.
2) Check the MD5 hash to ensure nothing foul happened during download (Info can be found at https://help.ubuntu.com/community/HowToMD5SUM)
3) Use the tool provided on http://www.pendrivelinux.com/ to create a bootable USB with your Ubuntu ISO.
4) Reboot your computer. Before Windows starts, and your BIOS screen is showing, enter the setup. The hotkey to do this varies depending on your BIOS, but it should show on the screen.
5) One in the setup page, find "Boot" or "Boot Options", there should be a list of things. You need to set "USB" to the top of the list, instructions on how to move items on the list should appear on the right-hand side of the page.
6) Once you have set it to boot from USB, restart your computer with the USB device plugged in.
7) Follow installation instructions and you will be running Ubuntu in no time.
Good luck! Let me know if you encounter any problems.
