Hey all,

I recently did a trade for a friend who wanted to buy a char. So I bought one off reliable vendor, never had issues up until now. My friend who doesn't bot at all renewed the premium time, bought soft boots other items etc, and started to offline train it. My friend also paid for a WT code but opposed as to just giving my friend the code, he added it onto the account. Okay cool.. He couldn't transfer for another 45 days so he just offline trained for the mean time. One day he logs in to see it doesn't exist anymore/deleted. So he's out the money he paid for the account + the premium time.. I emailed Cipsoft regarding the issue and this is what they said:

Dear Tibia player,

Thank you for your request.

An automatic check of your account has shown that unofficial software was used on it to play Tibia. We have reviewed the deletion carefully, but I am sorry to say we have found it was justified. I am afraid we are not prepared to revoke it. Please understand that we cannot accept any further complaints against the deletion. Moreover, please note that we cannot give you any further details concerning the check procedure. However, rest assured that the deletion of your account was not based exclusively on reports by other players.

If you would like to go on playing Tibia, please create a new account and start over. However, if you do so we strongly recommend you make sure to study the Tibia Rules at
http://www.tibia.com/support/?subtopic=tibiarules
carefully and make sure not to violate them again. If you follow them at all times, you may be sure not to lose your new Tibia account again.

Please note that this is the last reply we can send you in this matter.

Kind regards,
Sezweh

My main question is, should the seller give the buyer a good deal to make up for the loss, or should the buyer accept the full loss even tho he has claimed to never run bots on his PC? I know it's hearsay but I'd like some opinions on this. I know it's not in the rules of Xenobot or most buyers to do any sort of refunds, but I think it's only good business to do so or compensate with a better character for a better deal. The seller has not responded in days and my friend is considering charging back the funds. What would be the logical thing to do?

P.S: total time he had the account before deleted was 34 days.

Once you buy the account you run the risk. Shit happens bro. Count your losses and come back later.

What your friend could do if he paid for premium and wt code using paypal is to chargeback. At least he would get some money back.

See that's the thing, he's going to charge back but I just didn't want any negative rep on my end. He for sure doesn't bot, I guess it's the risk he took when he bought an account in the first place. Just strange because any account I've bought off the vendor, it's never been deleted and I sat on them for months before I decided to transfer. If anybody was wondering what world, it was Irmada.

I don't think it makes sense for someone to accept losses when they don't even have an account to play. But we'll see how this goes. Charging back the CIP payments wouldn't do anything to the account because it's already deleted.

You just got unlucky. Irmada was recently the subject of a massive ban-wave, many high leveled players lost their accounts.
