Yep it should be implemented, this would decrease future spam threads asking for the same thing all the time.

One downside,
XBF (XenoBot Forums) soon to be a large scale forum (after final release) like Reign said to me on msn, A shoutbox on a large scale forum would be epically hard to enforce rules on :p He also suggested something like cometchat...

Chances of a shoutbox being implemented are slim to none. With the future plans of XenoBot we do not need the complexity of dealing with a shoutbox being spammed. No other leading bot company currently uses a shoutbox for several reasons and I don't see any reason at this point to have one.
