Need some help to understand -> Self.Step()

Hello guys, I would like to understand how does Tibia receives the Self.Step() packet.
Is this command related to mouse click or arrow press?

Or Tibia doesn't care about if it was arrow press neither mouse click, and just want to receive the direction?

Tibia receives the packet to step in whichever direction. What is with peoples obsession with mouse clicks/keyboard presses? It doesn't matter.
