As much as I love the feature, it sometimes bites me in the ass when the char is running away from 1 monster(lets say a frost dragon in okolnir) has some shitty hits with the bow(or it used san too much and wasn't shooting correctly) and ran directly into more. So he keeps running and occasionally I look at screen and see me being chased by 8 frosties. I was thinking it may be useful to have a function where if the bot is keeping distance from its target, it will simply back track its waypoints. So instead of continuing into a spawn or going in a random direction it will simply walk backwards toward the area you already killed. It would do this until it hits stairs etc then it would resume normal function finding its own path. By that time the area around you probably wont have any other monsters on it or you will at least be a few waypoints away from luring more on yourself.

You need some special areas ;) If you want I can give you a stand-alone lua that will prevent the bot from walking further than x distance away from the point where it started attacking the current target.

Mmm well that may work, but its really just the direction in which the bot runs... not so much the distance. If it only runs 25 sqm instead of 50 sqm further into the spawn its still luring on itself.
