I think it's not bannable but I am not sure ;p It would be really hard to prove them that you are doing that anyway.

Braziliano I really donīt think so... They know who is using mc (I think).. I had an ot for like 5 months and i remember having a command that was !mc and it told me all the people in the ot that was using it... So if my noob ot had it, obviously rl tibia does to jaja

Maybe it was just showing people with same IP which doesn't have to mean they use MC or was it really checking for machine's id or whatever ?

Nakuu i really dont know, was just a command i got from otland jaja! For checking machine ids you need administrator permissions don't you?

If you aren`t using any bot on any of the MCs I think there won't be any problems, but that's only an opinion. About MCing AND botting I have my doubts, it could be easily checked by CIP, people with the same Hardware using spells/attacking on both clients at the same time, some data suggests that it can help you get deleted.

Depends what you're using the MC for. To bot? Using third-party software is illegal. That's obviously not allowed.

Just be smart.

EDIT: Found more information regarding this. MC is allowed (in a traditional sense): Tibia.Wikia.com - Multiclient (http://tibia.wikia.com/wiki/Multiclient)

As long as you don't "manipulate the client program", you won't get banned for it.

i just put on another client , to bring supplies . grab loot etc.

Multiclient is allowed since Flash Client released. Even in regular Forum people will tell you that

Yeah because with the flash client you can have multiple browser windows open at the same time with different accounts logged in. So MCing with the standalone client is now allowed. There is no rule stating otherwise cause that old rule was removed from the tibia rule section.

Slightly late but just posting this for clearance

Checking for players using multiple clients in OTs is done only by listing them according to their IP and it's done in this script: Forgotten Server implementation (https://github.com/otland/forgottenserver/blob/master/data/talkactions/scripts/mccheck.lua)

In another thread someone mentioned getting a tunnel service or something that changed the ip. I was thinking "Why doesn't the bot automatically do that upon injecting?" Wouldn't that help people to farm accounts without getting their mains banned?

That would be stupid if all xenobot users had the same ip :-P

Also because good tunnel services aren't free, and I don't want to use a tunnel anyways.

So if a bot had a built in tunnel service, everyone using that bot would end up having the same or similiar ip?

I can understand you not wanting to do the extra scripting for the tunnel then.

I admit that this tunnel service is a new concept (unless you are talking about connecting via a proxy, I have heard of that before) but like Nakku said, if everyone using the bot had the same ip from the tunnel, doesn't it follow that people using the same service has the same ip? so like say Columbian Drug Mule (sorry if this is coming off wrong) provided service for say 2000 bot accounts, all 2000 of those characters would show up as having the same ip?

I appologize if i look like a huge dunce swinging a retard blade around guys, I just want to know what I am getting into before I just dive in.

tunnel is the same as a proxy service but usually prioritizes a 'direct' route to the server.
