So, just wanted to tell everyone who thinks authenicator somehow saves lives, it seems to not. I got deleted on a premium account with an authenicator. I had previously been deleted on 2 other prem accs and few other facc accs so I decided to try the authy out to see if it actually helps to prevent deletion. I even started botting less and less for safety but just now, whilst logged on and botting my account got deleted. Just wanted to share this with you all, think tibia days are over. Peace.

Nah you didn't get my point. I know it's not meant to "protect" me from being deleted. However, most people say and think that having an authenicator to your account reduces the chance of being deleted. People are running experiments to try to find out what to do to reduce the risk of being deleted, and having an authenicator was one of them. So I just wanted to say that it's either invalid or I was very unlucky.

Only saw this thread today Abbepowerd, I'm one who uses Authy, didn't found anyone before who got deleted using it, good and sad at the same time to know that Authenticator acc's can still get deleted, at least someone posted. Maybe it's less likely to get deleted like having a pacc against a facc. When faccs were getting deleted after ~2 days of botting, like a month ago, I created a char to test, turned on Authenticator and got it to 50 while even getting some reports in a month, using randomized scripts, then got bored to turn it's virtual machine on to keep on leveling. Didn't used MC on it, had a clean windows install (virtual box).
Did you format your PC after getting deleted on your other accs? Nowadays I'm botting on a VPS and in some situations I found my char stuck going from bank to mana shop for 2 hours, or saying balance for 10 minutes, clearly deletable but for now it's ok here. Notice that I never MC.

In my opinion, the only conceivable way the "authenticator" may "help with prevention" of deletion, would be on a case to case basis depending on the individual processing your account. If they see you have all of the security measures in place, it's possible they may think you are a more "authentic" or "legitimate" player and this may sway their decision.
It will not protect you against any automated detection, reports, or in-game detection from GM's.

I agree, it won't do anything with the detection per se, unlike i.e. randomized scripts. There is an advantage that the player will never use a reconnect function to mass bot, as you need to be at the PC at least when logging in.

In my experience using an authenticator lets you avoid the automatic bot check that CIP otherwise run on all new accounts. However, if they chose to investigate you for any other reason it won't do jack shit.
